  • The best school my daughter has been to. Clean and they always have the children engaged. I love that they teach the kids to harvest and garden their own fruits and vegetables. Never once had to worry about my daughter learning or growing. 10/10

  • I just walked out of the store no later than 5 min ago. As soon as I took a sip I was immediately flabbergasted at how flavorful and refreshing the juice i ordered (anti inflammatory). I will most def be a regular here. And the two ladies behind the counter were so polite. ❤️

  • THIS IS MONET W. THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO TGR OWNERS RESPONSE BELOW. The owners clearly lies to cover up the facilities short comings. Which a horrible quality to have in life but as a childcare facility even worse. Me nor my child was at fault I was open & transparent every interaction. My child was not diagnosed at the time of enrollment but got a diagnosis the following day or so after enrollment. Even with no clear diagnosis I told your staff I fear he’s on the spectrum I stated he’s been in first steps etc. I told them of our home behaviors that may play a role in his success at the center such as giving in or telling him yes more often than not. (Which makes it hard for him to cope with no stop don’t & redirecting) So to say I wasn’t transparent open or honest until drop off is a lie. Again I was responded with smiles nods and advice such as after he ages out of first steps etc do preschool as we pick up and drop off I was given school names. I was told I would get the names of a few therapist who visit the center to see if they can also service my child. And this is all the Monday before her ever showed up. I was even told that your center is not in the habit of saying “no” that’s why each class gets taller and taller so that kids can’t access anything they can’t have. That’s is the expectation your staff is setting. Now on drop off day I did look as if I appeared out of thin air but that is due to the lack of professionalism and communication through your team. They didn’t pass along the information and even so I still did to each of his teacher and the finance person again whoever I could speak to I was transparent to. That’s why the finance person explained the cameras and the system that would tell me his every move etc. So again the shortcoming are with your team not me.

  • I would rate this place no stars if possible. I toured this center on a Monday with Monica and the director after hours. I expressed my concerns as a parent with a child who is possibly in the spectrum I was very very transparent and upfront about my son’s difficulties and such in return I got smiles nods & responses such as we have children who therapist come to the center we have other children who are transported to and from their special education schools etc as if they are comfortable and able to care for my child. By the end of the tour I was told my son can start the following Monday and even sent an email the next day of things I need to submit by Monday which I did. Come Monday not only was it so disorganized and chaotic upon drop off because the two individuals who knew of me & my son were nowhere to be found and didn’t pass along information about our arrival or even our name. None the less I met each of his teachers for his class. The assistant teacher was very nice & as I expressed directly to her my concerns & as I was transparent I got questions like what calms him etc which gave me a sense of comfort. Then meeting the actual teacher who did nothing but started and nod as I expressed and explained about my son it just looked like her leg hip or foot hurt & she was over the convo. I finally got my camera access within last two hours he was there the quality of the cameras are so bad you really can’t decipher if he’s crying happy or sleep really. None the less upon pick up he wasn’t crying & greeted me with a hug. The director who appears out of thin air as far as I was concerned asked if she can see me. After speaking with her I had the feeling she didn’t want him to return. The feedback hurt my feelings as I feel it’s was greatly exaggerate so they won’t have him enroll. Stated he was very very unsafe because he exited the room on his own a few times. Also stated my 2 year old didn’t respond to them dating no don’t leave stop again I have voiced so many times to each person I’ve spoken with he’s non verbal with maybe some comprehension issues. Again nothing but smiles and reassurance. So this is his first day been here for 5 hours and the worse he did was leave a few times. Yes I get the importance but also during the tour director literally said notice mom how each room things get bigger and bigger as we don’t tell children no what they can reach they can do. So that don’t apply to the door. Should your center not be childproof? I was told how frustrating he was and how frustrated his caregivers were. Because it was Monday and he has doctor visits set for Tuesday and Thursday and will have some breaks in between care that week I felt I was forced to suggest he stay home this week and return next week. During his week at home I sent his therapist notes as requested I also got his assessed for Autism which he has. The person who diagnosed him asked what center was he at for the 5 hours as she states he is high functioning and she gave him so much praise etc. I said woodland she said child development center I said yes she said in gammon yes. She said I’m surprised they reacted that way as I have other clients attend there and your child is not at all the first or fourth who has left his classroom one child actually left the facility before. She stated he’ll be fine I’m sure he just has to adapt. Because again as I’ve told everyone he was thriving in daycare before. Before I could even get his diagnosis to Woodland I called as me and the director was to meet today Friday to speak just touch base for his arrival on mo day. I was advised I’ll receive a call back I did t just got an email saying do t bring him back. To judge him I. 5 hours is insane to me. Also when dropping him off a girl they call JC Penney literally was yelling and bit staff my child don’t do that and I was advised JC has been there for years so to allow violent behavior but deny my child is suspicious and disheartening

  • I have nothing but the positive things to say about this childcare center. My daughter had been coming here for 3 years now and she loves it. I started bringing her when I was going to Purdue and kept her there even after finishing my degree because my daughter loves teachers there and I like how they plan all the activities for the kids all day. Unlike other places in Northwest Indiana, private child cares, rest assured, the staff will not cut corners here when comes to your child’s wellbeing. That’s why they have plentiful of teachers and aides for every child group.

  • I tried to enroll both my children but they didn’t want to accept my daughter and didn’t give me a reason behind it. I brought in my son for day one and he was only there for a few hours, when I came to pick him up he had been bitten by another child in his arm and he also had a swollen infected eye. Not only was my son not being watched but the facility is dirty. Even when I walked in, they had tv on for the little ones, a woman was coughing, the room was very dark. I was very disappointed with my experience here. And I am so glad I was able to find much better care for my son. They didn’t even give me my sons pack of diapers and wipes and spare clothing, blanket and pillow back. I even emailed and asked for it and there was no response. If you are absolutely desperate for childcare or your child is used to being treated poorly then bring your child here. I definitely will never recommend this place to my family and friends.
