I have had absolutely the best experience with this center. All the teachers there treat my daughter so well, and she knows she is so loved by all of them. She has learned so much since being here. We love everyone there!!
Kaytlin MillerJul 14, 2025New edit: All because I asked for the days and times child was there and due to the fact there dates where wrong and he wasn’t there or he was at another daycare yet they stated he was! The admins do not care for the children and only care about getting paid! Edit: due to publicly posting about this situation I was added to the portal. Very sad it had to be done this way, I just wish I wasnt put in this position in the first place. Stand up for rights you believeve in. I’ll always be advocating for the children no matter how much people try to point fingers it’s about the kids not petty adults! They were tagged and blocked me so the tag couldn’t be there. Highly inappropriate staff members (some are good and do truly care for the children -one bad apple ruins the bunch), hope others have better experience, this didn’t have to be this way. Make sure if you go here to protect your self with recording because they WILL lie to you ”protect them selfs” scares me this is the people taking care of children hopefully it gets fixed. I’d like for Abilene Childcare Learning Center (ACLC) to put me on there parenting app for daycare but they state “due to dad not allowing access to financial and personal information we can’t” figured I’d try publicly posting this weird way of blocking parents from teacher communications. Can someone help them with there system to take that “information” off so I am able to get updates and communication from the teachers so we are all on the same page(especially since teachers had no idea about potty training or child’s surgery). Absolutely no reason blocking a parent from being able to communicate with the teachers (especially since he has a different teacher every week) I would just like to be able to make sure everyone is on the same page everyday especially since they where not with the topics above. All they have to do was to daycare facility to add me yet that was not the case and this facility chosen not to add me even after being asked.
Jordyn HubleyMay 16, 2025My child attended this center for almost 2 years and I would NEVER send my child back. They are a revolving door for staff. They don’t feel the need to introduce parents to new staff so you never know who you are dropping your kid off too. On several occasions I walked in to drop off my kid to 1 “teacher” for the whole classroom and she’s on her phone, we weren’t even greeted. Then it got really bad, I was told many lies about my child which I confirmed were lies from other teachers in the class room, on several occasions they gave my child food she could not have due to allergies (these allergies were in her file documented by her doctor) no new staff was ever told of her allergies by the center I always had to tell them, AND THEN my final straw was they started making the bathroom a sort of time out and tried to get my daughter to nap in there unsupervised when she hadn‘t even acted out (they admitted she hadn’t done anything). When I complained about this to them and Heartland, I was given several different inconsistent stories. They promised to get cameras several times in the 2 years we were there but never have. I believe it’s because they do not want others to see what is going on in the building. After I reported them to heartland and complained about several issues I was handed a note at pick up that said they were terminating service with 2 business days notice to find new childcare. If you enjoy your sanity skip this place.
Molly HowardApr 29, 2025We've had the absolute best experience at ACLC and our daughter has thrived at the center. The staff is fantastic and my daughter has learned so much - I'm so thankful we have this quality of center in Abilene.
