Brehanna AlsinApr 29, 2023Would not recommend this daycare to anyone. Our child was in the infant room for a short period of time before we started having issues. We were called several times to pick her up as she had a "fever". Finally, after having to leave work several times my husband asked for the staff to take her temperature there on site and magically she did not have a fever, and in fact somehow her temperature went down 3 degrees in a matter of 30 minutes without any medications! This was also a day a staff member mentioned to him as he was dropping her off that they were short staffed and somehow all of the infants had "fevers" that day and were sent home. Once he picked her up and she had a red spot on her cheek which we were told was from the "jumper". You could tell this was a carpet burn which means they allowed her to rub her face on the ground till it caused the red spot - which she only did when upset. Staff turnover was high which is also a red flag. We voiced our concerns several times with the director of this facility with no results. We had a meeting with the manager/owner over both the VC and Wichita locations and when we voiced our concerns, once again we were not met with results. He also was annoyed that we had not voiced concerns before this, when in fact we told him we had voiced our concerns with his director and if she did not mention those to him, then that is on her. The result of this meeting ended up in them kicking our daughter out of their facility telling us that we needed to find another daycare. Instead of fixing the problem (director of the VC location), they made us leave.
