  This facility is wonderful and the staff are amazing. I tried multiple childcare locations after moving to Topeka and none were even close to Bright Skies. I was nervous about their 3.6 star rating on Google, but turns out that accumulated from past administration and does not reflect the level of care the facility provides. This is coming from a slightly type A, helicopter mom. The staff care about my child and I don't worry about safety or neglect when their at daycare. I'm so grateful to the Bright Skies team for being our families village and helping raise our child. They deserve all the positive feedback.

  My kids have been attending Bright Skies since February, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place! From day one, the staff has been absolutely amazing — so kind, patient, and genuinely caring toward my children. One of the things that stood out most to me was the consistency. My kids always had the same teachers and familiar faces, which made such a difference in how comfortable and excited they were to go each day. They truly built strong relationships with the staff and it showed — they always came home happy, and talking about their day. The communication was always excellent. I never had to wonder what was going on — the teachers and staff were great at keeping parents updated and involved. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The classrooms are always full of fun, engaging toys and learning materials, and I could tell that the staff takes real pride in keeping everything fresh and exciting for the kids. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they gave to my children during their time there. It’s truly one of those rare places where you can feel confident your kids are safe, loved, and thriving. If you’re looking for a childcare center that goes above and beyond, I couldn’t recommend Bright Skies more highly! Side note: The pre-K graduation they put on was absolutely incredible — It was so thoughtful, beautifully organized, and filled with so many special little touches that made it unforgettable. You can really tell how much heart they put into everything they do!

  We absolutely love Bright Skies! Our son enjoys going every single day, and that’s all thanks to the amazing staff. The care, patience, and positivity they show is truly unmatched. From the moment we walk in, it’s clear how much love and effort goes into creating a safe and happy space for the kids.   I could not rave more on this facility. My child has been attending for close to 2 years and the facility and staff have been nothing short of amazing to my child and our family. They use a procare child care app to inform through out the day of bathroom breaks, meals/snacks, what/how much is eaten, nap times, and even photos through out the day. They have developed an educational curriculum to prepare children for grade school which includes activities involving reading, writing, and math/numbers. The providers have been great at providing updates on child’s well being, inform when they fall ill/need picked up. When picking my child up, I see that as the classrooms begin to empty, they begin cleaning to ensure sanitation for the next day. They provide well balanced meals and snacks with great consideration and respect for children with allergies. They have been particularly engaging with children who need extra help such as coordinating meetings with TARC for early intervention. They also have a contract with my gym to allow for focus on physical fitness and motor development. Joy only are the protocols, standards and policies taken seriously, the staff truly care about the children. My child has been treated as if he is family at bright skies and there is nothing more comforting than being able to drop my child off with people I can trust to treat my child as if he was their own.

  Cannot think of a negative thing to say about Bright Skies since making the choice to change Daycare providers 5 months ago. Our family stressed about the decision, but knew it was the right choice after seeing a difference in our daughter on day one of attending Bright Skies! Her attitude, potty-training, and behavior were all changed in the absolute best ways possible! I feel there is no doubt she will be ready for Kindergarten with the education she is receiving at Bright Skies! The homemade food prepared daily on-site sounds amazing when I receive updates on the app along with photos and messages. All I see are smiling faces on staff and children every time I'm in the building, which is very clean and organized. I have no question that my child is safe, happy and learning from the time we drop her off to the time we pick her up, I can't think of a higher compliment. Thank you for your continued excellent service Bright Skies!

  Bright Skies has been a great move for my children. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and my children adore them! With the use of the "brightwheel" app, the teachers keep me up-to-date with activities my children are doing throughout the day, their meals and naps, and it allows for easy communication if I have any schedule or billing questions, etc. The owners, Bri and Sheldon, along with the daycare Director, Edye, have been great to work with. I trust that my children are safe and in good hands at Bright Skies, and I would definitely recommend anyone to this facility!
