My 3 year old son goes to daycare here and we absolutely love it! The staff and the environment is exactly what we were hoping for with a church based daycare.
Gabe ThurmanFeb 3, 2025Had a very bad experience with our youngest boy here after he was bit several times by the same kid. They handled it very poorly and at one point I told them I wanted to be contacted if he was bit again. They didn't call, and then the director lied right to my face about not being told about the situation. Tried to talk with the pastor but he wasn't there at the time. Even called but never got to speak with him.Pulled our son out that day. It was the first daycare I'd used and our first boy didn't have many issues. But after going to others and seeing how they are set up, this place is very unstructured and the classrooms are complete chaos. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for childcare.
Kevin MorganFeb 19, 2020I love all of the fun activites you guys do in the daycare! The atmosphere of this daycare is amazing! All the staff is super welcoming and genuinely cares about the kids. The daycare has an amazing outdoor area that the kids really enjoy and love getting dirty in! I would highly recommend sending your kids to this daycare!! There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this daycare is!!
Haley SmithApr 13, 2019We love everything about this daycare. Staff is wonderful and they have a great director who is very involved in all classrooms. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone in Wichita.
Ileana PerezApr 13, 2019Terrible things happened to our daughter here. We are still dealing with it and no one took the steps necessary to correct what went wrong. I hope no other parents have to deal with what we are. It’s sad on every level and could’ve been prevented.
Dallas BrozMay 28, 2018Loving Arms opened a baby room in October 2013. My son had the pleasure of being one of the first babies in the new room. Being my 4th, this wasn't my first experience with infant childcare. However, Loving Arms has gone above and beyond to make their new infant room one of the best. There were a few minor bumps in smoothing out how things work in the beginning, but they were very sensitive to them and fixed them very quickly. I appreciate that more than words can describe. I am a nursing mother. And as a working nursing mother I also pump. So the milk I provide for my son is very precious. I found them to be very nursing-friendly and treating the milk with appropriate respect. There has been very little wasted milk, which is not something I can say for some of my other childcare experiences. I was more than impressed when they also took some classes regarding nursing mothers to get more information on how to help the working nursing mother be more successful. The last thing I appreciate is that someone is always cuddling my little bug. This is not a place where they sit babies down and leave them. Crying babies are not left - they are attended too. And on days where my kid happens to be a little needier, they go above and beyond to sooth him. My other children have also attended here and I have had a good experiences with all of the other childcare rooms as well. They are education focused with the understanding that kids learn through play. The effort they put into teaching these kids in a manner they can learn is astounding. (My 3 yo came home the other day and explained to me what 'hibernation' was. She has been able to spell her name since she was 2 and she is already doing addition. She can recognize most of the letters in the alphabet. And this level of education has been consistent for all of them.) Loving Arms is a place where they actually like kids. Sounds crazy - but these places do exist. I cannot recommend them highly enough. UPDATED 1/4/2016: A lot of changes have happened over the last year. This is no longer the learning center that it used to be and requires some changes before it can be up to the standards of what it was previously.
