  • We never had to put our older kids in daycare, so I was terrified when we needed to put our youngest two in. Rockin Js was able to take them both (1 and 2 years old). I felt awful having to do it. They warmed up to it so fast. My two year old has a speech delay and I was scared he wouldn't be able to tell me if something was wrong. I ended up being so glad we chose Rockin Js. My two year old loved going and began talking more. He even wanted to go see his friends on a weekend once. That let me know he was treated well. My one year old is glued to me at home--but everyday at pick up you could tell he was so comfortable there. Like he would've been fine with staying lol. Kelly and the rest of the staff were great to my babies and I could tell she loved them as her own. If you need childcare-- don't hesitate to give them a try. I couldn't have found a better place when I needed it. ❤️

  • My daughter is level 2 autistic and non-verbal. Around February, I began noticing changes in her behavior toward daycare. She would cry in the car and say, “No daycare, mommy’s house,” which was extremely out of character for her. In April, I was informed at pickup that she had been restrained by a staff member — something I had not been contacted about beforehand. The employee who told me seemed nervous. Later that night, while giving my daughter a bath, I noticed a number of handprint-like marks on her legs. I brought my concerns to the director, Kelly, the next day. At first, she acknowledged my daughter being restrained, but the explanation changed after showing photos of the marks. Initially, I was told my daughter had to be restrained; later it was said she was just sitting on a worker’s lap. These inconsistencies were concerning to me. I have personally overheard how children are spoken to when parents aren’t around, and it deeply unsettled me. The only cameras I saw were at the building entrance and parking lot — not in the classrooms or playground. Due to the seriousness of my concerns, I filed formal reports with KDHE and DCF. Those records, as well as other past investigations, are publicly available. This review is based on my personal experience and concerns as a parent.

  • My daughter went here from age 1 until kindergarten. She was above and beyond cared for and ready for the transition to school. Tresny and John are fabulous and great to work with. Mrs Brenda was my daughters favorite! They are all wonderful.

  • Excellent child care center. The staff are good, children are kept safe. The program is well suited to the age of the child
