  We absolutely love Kids Haven! 💙 This is our son last week as he moves to big boy school, and it’s definitely bittersweet. Everyone has always been so kind, loving, and caring towards him. We are especially grateful for Mrs. Sam, who loved and embraced our little boy as if he were her own. We truly appreciate the entire team for loving, teaching, and caring for our little one. We will miss everyone so much and are forever grateful for the memories and love they’ve given him. Thank you, Kids Haven, for being such a special part of our little ones preschool journey.

  Highest rated in the parish with excellent emotional response score... I have no idea how. A special needs foster child who was 3 entered my home. This child was nearly nonverbal and had experienced significant trauma. The daycare assured me that he would be given time, patience, and that we work together to help him. They assured me they had cared for plenty of children with similar stories. However, each time I offered a tip as I learned it, they were dismissive. On day 6 they called me with completely inappropriate and unprofessional attitude and told me I had to pick him up immediately because he was crying and waking up other kids. The owner very gruffly handed the child to me and he was clearly in distress. She seemed angry at him for being upset. She said he had one more chance to "have a good day" or he could not return. The owner states her reason was: "I have to stay here with other kids who are cranky now.I can't leave this center for the rest of the day." The owner admitted to holding the child down on the nap mat with her knees, forcing him to lay down. Additionally, his shoes and socks were completely soaked.. to the point that his skin was "pruny" when I took them off. It was 1:30 in the afternoon, but the excuse given for the shoes was the "dew on the grass from the morning play time" which seems unlikely. I KNOW this child was challenging in many, many ways. But, he was 3, with significant trauma. He was new to foster care and just needed time, patience, and kindness. He didn't need the attitude, anger, and unwillingness to help.

  Do NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS to Kids Haven Childcare! The director called my Sister with a horrible attitude to pick my niece up because she wasn't eating. My Sister told her she won't be returning because she did not like what was said on the phone. She pulled up and they put my niece stuff outside!! A real woman and director wouldn't be scared of conversation!

  My son and daughter have been going here for a few years now, and they absolutely love it here ! !!! Nice, clean environment and such a wonderful staff!! Highly recommend :)
