Acorn Child Care Center

Our son is about to graduate from Pre-K after spending the last five years at Acorn Childcare Center, and we could not be more grateful for the experience our family has had. He started at Acorn when he was just four months old, during the uncertainty of COVID. Even during such a challenging time, the staff created a warm, safe, and nurturing environment that gave us confidence and peace of mind every single day. As parents, there is nothing more valuable than knowing your child is loved, cared for, and genuinely excited to go to school each morning. Throughout every classroom and stage, we have been impressed by the caring staff, the clean and organized facility, and the thoughtful activities that keep children engaged, learning, and having fun. Acorn has done an incredible job balancing education, creativity, and play. The special events, especially the Halloween and Christmas celebrations, are always highlights that our son looked forward to each year and created wonderful memories for our family. Most importantly, Acorn has helped prepare our son for kindergarten while also helping him build confidence, independence, and friendships that will last for years to come. We have also met so many wonderful families through the Acorn community, which has made our experience even more meaningful. Leaving Acorn is bittersweet because it has been such an important part of our son’s early childhood. We are incredibly thankful for the care, dedication, and love shown to him over the past five years. We wholeheartedly recommend Acorn Childcare Center to any family looking for a place where their child will be safe, supported, and truly cared for.

Our son was born during COVID which made choosing a childcare center particularly difficult due to restrictions around visiting but the staff we spoke to at Acorn were friendly and informative and they had flexible scheduling options so we took a leap of faith and are so grateful that we did. From 4 months old and now getting ready to graduate, Acorn staff have become like family over the years. They have supported his growth in character as well as his education. He has absolutely LOVED his teachers who have made learning fun and cared for him as a whole little person. As parents we love the newsletters and app updates about the learning themes and how the teachers are incorporating the themes into each of the centers. We also have appreciated the opportunities to join the classroom as Community Helpers and enjoyed the events hosted by the staff and teachers that helped us connect with other parents and caregivers. Acorn is a special place and we would definitely recommend it.

Both of our children attended Acorn, and we have so many great memories from our time there! While we didn't experience the infant room since we weren't living in the area at that stage, our kids went through the toddler, preschool, and Pre-K classrooms and had a wonderful experience. The teachers were caring, supportive, and truly made a lasting impact on our children - and also helped prepare them for kindergarten and gave them the confidence to take that next step. Bonus: We also met some amazing families through the daycare and have made lifelong friendships. We would happily recommend Acorn to other families in Westford and beyond!

We could not be happier with the care our child received at Acorn! We were apprehensive about sending him to daycare, but it was immediately clear that he was in a safe, loving environment. Everyone on the team was genuinely happy to see him each day, and he was always thrilled to go to school. Staff were communicative, responsive, and attentive. They handled our child's multiple food allergies professionally and confidently. We received detailed, personal updates daily. Our child made wonderful progress toward academic, developmental, and social milestones. He's ready for his next step thanks to the team at Acorn - we can't recommend them enough!
