  • I recently attended a scheduled tour at this school for my son, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Despite having an appointment, it seemed as though the staff were unaware of our scheduled visit. We arrived on time, waited, and were ultimately rushed through the tour. As a parent with a busy schedule, I found this to be both frustrating and disrespectful. Additionally, I came prepared with a short list of questions. However, I was not given adequate time to ask them and felt hurried out of the visit. Not worth paying the tuition for a school already disorganized. The overall experience felt unprofessional and gave the impression that prospective families are not valued. This was especially disappointing, as I had been seriously considering this school for my son. We visited a few other private schools and were thanked for visiting and received follow up emails of schedules and tuition. I received nothing from Allo. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration so that future prospective families are treated with more respect and professionalism. We waited longer to get a tour than the actual tour.

  • The team, the curriculum, and the spaces are all wonderful for our daughter (21 months old). She has been at Allo for five months and is happy, thriving, and learning there. She loves to share parts of her day with us in her own toddler way--wants to sing the ABCs together, tells us the colors of everything, will spontaneously and correctly use new words she learned like "windy!" or "map!" I've worked in education for a decade, and it's obvious that the Allo teachers all really care about the kids. They give students an ideal balance of play, learning, structure, and guidance. We also love that it's a small locally-owned business; it feels less like we're participating in a big childcare machine (the way some other daycares feel) and more like we're part of a sweet and authentic community. We feel really lucky that we found Allo, and grateful to the wonderful team there.

  • My husband and I thank our lucky stars daily that we found AMP. This place has to be the best preschool in Boston. The staff is amazing, talented and so kind. The location is beautiful. The classrooms each have so much natural light and this incredible view of the harbor. Each age group has their own huge classroom. The teachers are dedicated to filling the space with challenging and fun toys for the kids to engage with each day. The classrooms even have their own gardens out front for the nicer weather. There’s also time each day down at the Allo play area, which is so great when the weather is bad. Our daughter is always excited for school and is learning so much. The communication with the staff is incredible, and I feel beyond comfortable dropping her off every day. We’re about to send our second child there next fall, too, and we can’t wait to see how much she will thrive there as well. I would give this place 100 stars if I could.

  • The communication the school has with my husband and I is nothing short of amazing. Pictures almost daily, milestone, and what and how they are learning is incredible. I like seeing it come in while at work and being able to talk to my daughter about it when we get home.

  • That’s our kids second year at Allo and we feel lucky to have found such an wonderful place for them. The classrooms are small, each kid gets a lot of attention. Every day they are doing something artistic or outdoors, everyone in the school is so nice! My daughter created strong friendship bonds even as a part time student, it’s always a great time at Allo! Love this place!

  • My daughter has been attending since the school opened and she is loving it, she’s been asking to go to school even on weekends in fact! The whole team is great, admins, toddlers and preschool teachers do a great job at keeping us up to date with what’s going on in the classroom in terms of activities (curriculum, art, music…) and we really appreciate the transparency in communication with families. The location itself is amazing: spacious classrooms, lots of sunlight and direct view on everything going on in Boston harbor and navy yard. Definitely a place where you will see your kid blooming day by day!
