Big Leaps Preschool and Daycare

I HIGHLY recommend Big Leaps for anyone seeking a nurturing and stimulating environment for their little ones. My daughter attended this daycare from 6 months to 19 months, and the only reason we had to leave was due to our family's move. From the moment we enrolled, Big Leaps felt like a second home for our daughter. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive; they made it a point to know every child’s name, which made us feel comfortable and reassured about her care. The teachers are not only passionate about early childhood education but also genuinely invested in the well-being and development of each child. During her time there, we saw our daughter blossom from a baby into a walking, talking toddler. The nurturing environment encouraged her growth, and she thrived in their care. When we left, she could sing multiple songs, including her ABCs, count from 1 to 10, and even helped with cleaning up her toys—a testament to the wonderful learning experiences provided. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough about our experience. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be loved, engaged, and encouraged to learn, Big Leaps is the PERFECTTTTT choice!

They took wonderful care of my daughter! They keep you informed throughout the day of their meals, diaper changes, naps and photos! Teachers are friendly and very caring! Miss Jocelyn and Miss Alison always greet you at the door with big smiles! My daughter absolutely thrived at Big Leaps! I can’t recommend them enough!!

Our family so grateful for the experience over the years with Big Leaps! Both my kiddos have grown up here since they were babies- one graduated and went off to Kindergarten and another heading there next year! Without a doubt both my kids have shown tremendous growth in learning, play and trying new things! The structure of the program has really prepared them for their elementary years! As a parent, I have been able to work full-time knowing that my kids are in a safe and caring environment. Trust is so important to our family and Big Leaps has delivered this consistently. The teachers are one of a kind and we are so blessed to have them as part of our village!

Where do we even begin?! Our son (first child) started at Big Leaps when he was 18 months old, and like any parent or caregiver, I was nervous about how he’d adjust, constantly wondering if he would be safe and happy. Fast forward almost 4 years later, and we truly could not be more grateful for the teachers and staff at Big Leaps. Our son has grown so much, has learned important social skills, and has such a deep love for learning. Big Leaps has provided him with a routine in the safest, most healthy, and happiest environment. He truly has loved every teacher he’s had throughout the years. While he is fully prepared for the transition into kindergarten, we know he will miss his time at Big Leaps. We are excited for our daughter to soon be able to experience the same love and care!

We love Big Leaps!!! We are Kingston residents and I had my son home with me until he was about 18 months old, when the time came to start looking for child care. I toured and interviewed a few places and didn’t feel like they were the right fit for our family. We were recommended Big Leaps and from our very first interaction with the owner Jocelyn, we already felt so comfortable! The entire staff (who all know my son by name!) and especially the teachers are absolute angels and care so much for their students. We couldn’t imagine him being anywhere else and have full trust in his teachers who do such fun things in their classroom all day. Big Leaps is clean and spacious as a facility with a beautiful playground and an easy drop off / pick up process. We always know what’s going on with our son while he’s at school through their app, and the teachers are so responsive with any of our needs. Our son was a slow talker and since he started at Big Leaps he is absolutely thriving and learning new words, songs, shapes, playing with friends, and just coming out of his shell. It’s so exciting to see all his learnings come to life at home, and we have Big Leaps to thank for that! If you’re like us and are having a hard time deciding on childcare - tour with Big Leaps.
