Bright Horizons CDC-On The Charles

Rated 5/5 stars, because I couldn't figure out how to rate 6/5 stars. Our time at Bright Horizons on the Charles has been an incredible experience. The teachers are very professional, but also a ton of fun for our child. They do countless activities every day that are not just entertaining but that nurture growth, learning and development. The administrators make this center a community both with warm welcomes when we walk in as well as awesome extracurricular events for the whole family. The only reason we're leaving BHOTC is because we're moving, but believe me- I would pack up the entire center and bring it with me if I could.

Thrilled with BHOTC for our son - all of the teachers and admin are fantastic. Responsive, engaged and truly seem to care about all of the children in their care. The facility is lovely, somewhat secluded, nestled back by the Commander’s Mansion with tons of green space and with a dedicated playground. We’ve had wonderful teachers in both the infant and toddler room and they’ve answered our clueless first time parent questions with endless patience, insight and experience. Highly recommended!

Our family has been at BHOTC for the last 8 years. The staff is second to none and has truly become a part of our family. They've been with us through all our children’s milestones and still ask about our child who has graduated. Each of our children's teachers has partnered with us to help keep their learning experiences in the center as consistent as possible with their experience at home. Our children have learned so much during their time at BHOTC and absolutely loved every moment of it. As parents, we’ve always known they have the best and safest care while they’re at the center and we love hearing about all the fun they had each day. Our youngest will graduate soon and we will miss the teachers, leadership team, and the entire BHOTC community so much!

We looked at many daycares in the Brighton/Watertown area. Bright Horizons was the cleanest and friendliest facility we toured. Our daughter loves the teachers and staff. Our daughter has allergies and they support us and are dedicated to keeping her safe. They are flexible with our schedule and truly want the best for our daughter. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

We started at Bright Horizons on the Charles when our daughter was 16 weeks old. Our experience there completely exceeded our expectations (and they were high). As first time parents, we needed a lot of reassurance and they went above and beyond to provide it. They offered so much time and advice as we were navigating the various stages of early parenthood, and our teachers were accessible through weekly zoom calls for questions and information on our daughter’s development. Their encouragement meant everything to us. Their facility is one of a kind- you will not find outdoor play space like they have, or a center with so many movement and play options inside their facility. Every teacher has been wonderful, and the administration at this facility is phenomenal. Not just great at running their entire operation but at being kind humans to parents during a pandemic. Our family has made wonderful memories and lasting friendships from Bright Horizons and we are so grateful for everything they have done for us.
