Brown Bear Children's Center

Can’t say enough about how amazing Brown Bear is!! Their staff is like family, the facilities are so clean, and the curriculum is fun! You’d be so lucky to have your child attend Brown Bear.

I would strongly encourage parents to carefully consider their options before enrolling at this daycare. If you want your child falsely sent home on a weekly basis, this is the place for you! A close friend of mine has had an extremely frustrating experience. Her child has been sent home repeatedly due to concerns about illness, often despite receiving medical clearance from a doctor stating the child is healthy enough to attend. Even with documentation from healthcare providers, she has continued to face challenges getting her child readmitted. As a result, her child has missed numerous days of care while she continues to pay significant tuition fees. The ongoing disruptions have also had a serious impact on her work schedule and professional responsibilities, forcing her to frequently adjust her hours and make alternative childcare arrangements. I understand that daycares must prioritize the health and safety of all children, but consistency, communication, and reasonable policies are equally important for families who rely on dependable childcare. Based on what I've witnessed, this situation has placed an enormous amount of stress on an already hardworking parent. I sincerely hope the daycare addresses these concerns and improves its processes for the families who depend on its services - if they don't - they should really close their doors instead of putting an enormous continuous burden on several hardworking parents.

Reasonably priced daycare with wonderful staff. Our little loves his time at Brown Bear. Clean facilities with a nice playground out back. The curriculum for toddlers and up seems solid and, based on monthly calendar events, kept fresh with new themes regularly.
