  • They made a false statements TO DCF about hygiene and going to school with dirty clothes. I sent my child to school a few times with the CLEAN clothes from the day before for the purpose of minimizing laundry. We have 3 children in the home and the amounts of laundry every week is absurd when half of the clothing could be worn twice, he sleeps in underwear and takes a bath almost every night. He has long curly hair which knots up very easily and quickly . They mentioned this to dcf that I do not brush his hair . And that he came in with dirty underwear which is a false Statement , Not once have I sent him to school in dirty underwear. WHO SENDS THEIR CHILD TO SCHOOL IN SHITTY UNDERWEAR???? All mis information or exaggerated statements . While I understand neglect can be in the form of hygiene, I believe firmly that in this case speaking to me first would have been the appropriate actions. “Hey we have noticed …this, this, and this over the past couple of weeks is everything ok??” And I could have explained and very easily . But no, they filed a neglect complaint to dcf without any warning. While I think this is a great daycare, the teachers do NOT wipe the kids noses, and allow them to run around with snot all day! Numerous time I have dropped off or picked up my child and have noticed kids running around with snot flowing into their mouth, if wearing the same clothes 2 days in a row is bad hygiene then how is not wiping kids noses during the day NOT bad hygiene? On top of that there was 3 time I picked my child up with a dirty diaper ! Besides the fact the school didn’t talk to me first about their concern really bothers be and feels like a straight up insult. I take very good care of my children, Our home has lots of love in it and so I sent him to school with the same CLEAN clothes a few Times to minimize laundry and I haven’t cut his hair bc I believe - my child has the right to say yes or no on cutting their own hair. This is my honest review.
