  • Our son absolutely loves this preschool. We originally enrolled him part-time while keeping our nanny, but he enjoyed it so much that we added more days because he was so excited to be there. The teachers are incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient, and it’s obvious they truly love what they do. Every morning they greet the children with such warmth and enthusiasm, which makes a huge difference. The performances and special events are always adorable and so thoughtfully done! We’ve had such a positive experience and are happy to have found a safe place where our son feels excited to learn and play.

  • Miss Cindy was an amazing teacher for my daughter and easy for me to speak with about whether or not she was ready for Kindergarten. My daughter still speaks about Miss Cindy. I loved how the school keeps the parents informed about what the children are learning each week.

  • I highly recommend this wonderful preschool. All 3 of my kids have had the pleasure of coming here. It is a warm environment and all the teachers themselves have had their own kids at CCP! There is a good balance learning and play. I didn't want to send my children to someones house for school and these are real classrooms. The fact that it is a co-op added to our experience. We have met so many families and made long lasting friends. The "work" commitment is only 1 hour per month in one of the classrooms. Which enables you to see and learn about what your child does all day. It is actually a lot of fun. For those that work, you could have a nanny or grandmother fulfill the work commitment. And if you have younger children, they are able to go to the age appropriate classroom while you work. CCP is truly a treasure. The director and all the teachers are fantastic. They love and care about each and every child as if they were their own. It feels like leaving them with family.

  • We have been at CCP for 8 years with all 3 of our kids. We have 2 girls and a boy. I have always liked this school and it keeps improving too! What makes CCP so special? 1. In one room, there is a REAL KITCHEN! For example, (with 4 year olds) while one group of kids makes something like apple brownies for snack, some kids take their playroom turn, and another group is painting with stamps made out of sliced apples. All of this is well supervised..... 2. WONDERFUL ADULT:CHILD RATIOS. In order to keep the room calm and have fun doing all these interesting activities, they rely on parent volunteers and support staff. You volunteer approx. 1x a month. It is fun and rewarding. You have a baby? No problem, there is a baby room and the director will help answer your questions. It worked well for us and I looked forward to going! I often go home humming songs! 3. SPACIOUS ROOMS IN A BEAUTIFUL CHURCH. So much space to use! I love how they make things interesting and have music downstairs or a puppet show in another room. I love the songs and musical bells which start the Christmas season and the special "show" they do this month on the Church stage. 4. TEACHERS WHO SMILE and really pay attention to the kids. Keeping them safe and being kind to one another. Indirectly, they also support parents! When we started potty training my 1st child, reassurance from teachers was such a relief! 5. An INDOOR PLAY ROOM! So great in New England Weather! 6. Thank you for doing your best to accomodate kids with food allergies!

  • CCP is a cooperative preschool, which means that parents play a large role in helping run the school. I have really enjoyed helping out in the four different classrooms - one for each age. Each family helps out once a month for three hours one morning when their child/ren are in the school. The teachers are exceptionally competent and the whole school feels like a tight family. Taking our two kids here has been our family's first school experience, and we are back this year.
