  • We can’t yet speak to the older kid classes but the infant and toddler teachers are some of the most wonderful humans we’ve met. The teacher retention is incredible (our son had the same teachers from 15 months to 2.9) and the whole school is full of love. Lots of outdoor time, and I love that my kids get to grow up in a school with chickens, turtles and visits from the directors dog. Families should be aware that it’s not as organized as some other local schools, but we’ve found they communicate where it matters. Our one current hope is for the snacks (which are provided!) to be more consistently healthy options but it’s something the directors are open to working on.

  • Our kids love the school and the staff. It's great to have a non-profit with such caring people providing affordable childcare and education in Milton!

  • I have two children who attend discovery school. The staff is very good at communicating. My children come home learning new things every week. I highly recommend this place.

  • My son has been going here for nearly a year, since he turned fifteen months old. The adults are incredibly loving and experienced and take great care.

  • Below is a picture of what they consider a “fence” that is supposed to keep children from running into a parking lot. Instead of investing in a lock, or an actual gate they place complete blame on staff when a child manages to crawl underneath. This place is negligent, they don’t hold any accountability for their negligence and they don’t support their staff. I’d suggest bringing your child elsewhere.

  • Care was great no issues, would still be enrolled if the Assistant Director didn’t break trust. An incident where my niece wondered out to the road was not told to my sister. Thankfully a staff member notified DCF because they thought it was very inappropriate not to tell the mother. Thank you for being a mandated reporter and understanding your role in childcare. Accidents happen, I don’t believe this is a reflection on the school as a whole, but transparency after incident is what keeps our trust in care. Child just turned 2 years, I’m sure DCF will implement a corrective action plan so this doesn’t happen to another family. For us, it’s the end of our enrollment.
