After trying 3 different daycares and almost giving up hope, I finally found ELA, a place you can truly feel comfortable entrusting with your child. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff, surrounded by cute art by the students, and can see the facility is well-maintained. My 3 year old has now been a student for over a year, and eagerly looks forward to attending. Every time I pick him up he is busy doing something fun, not just sitting around waiting. The teachers are excellent and truly care about their students, they go above and beyond what is expected. We get updates/pictures throughout the day, and teachers are very proactive about not only communicating any concerns, but also working with you to help address them cooperatively. The school does theme days and events to keep things fun. There are even family events hosted by the school at no additional cost. He is sick far less frequently because the school takes hygiene and cleanliness very seriously. They are also very transparent about informing everyone of any illnesses so parents know what to look out for. I am a very anxious parent, so if you are too, or just looking for a place that is more than just "day care," I recommend ELA.
Sarah ViveirosOct 7, 2025I recently enrolled my daughter at Early Learners Academy after we moved to Seekonk. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience so far with their center. Miss Hannah and Morgan in the toddler 2 classroom are so kind to my daughter and truly care about her interests and development. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone who may be looking for a great fit for their child. You will be in great hands!
Stephanie SilvaJan 8, 2025I cannot express how happy I am with the care my children have received while at this center. Marissa and her staff go above and beyond to make sure my babies are happy, safe, cared for, and learning! My oldest daughter had difficulty transitioning from COVID life with mommy to being back at school, Marissa suggested a new schedule that would benefit her and get her acclimated to school, it worked! I love this school and would recommend 100x over and over.
Stephanie MooreJul 27, 2023Great staff and outdoor play area! Haven't had any bad experiences and kids loving going would totally recommend!
Michael BurtonDec 9, 2022I have debated posting this for quite a while because I didn’t want it to come off too harshly or feel as though my expectations were too high but I spoke with a lot of people about my experience here, a lot of people who work in childcare, and have been reassured that not enough was done here to help him to get adjusted. From the first day, which was only four hours, I was already talked to as if it wasn’t going to work out but that they were going to give him at least a week to get adjusted. By the third day I got a call after an hour and a half that they were struggling to keep him in the classroom and needed me to pick him up. I was very disappointed as he never got that week to get adjusted that I was originally told he would have, all I got was a so sorry and no explanation or reasoning as to why they had clearly already made up their minds on his first day and never gave him the actual time to get adjusted. I was told that they could send me some at home daycares in the area because the size of the class may be an easier adjustment for him and never received the list either. He has started at a new place and has been adjusting very well, the difference here is like night and day compared to what we experienced here. I really wanted it to work out but unfortunately the effort was not there. Im sure this place is nice for children who are used to a daycare environment but if you have any concerns with your child being able to adjust to a new environment I would suggest searching elsewhere first. I do wish them well as they were nice otherwise but there absolutely could have been more done to help with his transition.
Caitlyn CoteSep 23, 2021I cannot say enough good things about Early Learner's Academy. Our daughter started there at 4 months old and so we have experienced a number of different classrooms and teachers, and have been happy every step of the way. The teachers are creative, engaging, and compassionate. They keep you updated through the day with how and what your child is doing. The communication is exceptional. The director, Marissa, is always clear and thorough in her outreach. Throughout the pandemic she has been nothing but transparent and has always put the safety of her students at the top of her concerns. Finding a place to take care of your child, let alone a baby, is a nerve wracking process, and we consider ourselves lucky to have found a place as wonderful as ELA.
