It’s been almost 6 months since my son started attending Great Brook School, Acton, and the school already holds such a special place in our hearts. 💙 Not only is it his very first school, but it’s also a place where he feels happy, content, curious, and excited — all at once — every single day he walks through those doors. From the visionary founder to the amazing staff, enriching learning experiences, and the nurturing environment, GBS truly stands out. Thank you for making such a positive difference in so many young lives. We deeply appreciate all that you do! 🙏✨
PALLAVI SHARMAMar 24, 2025Great Brook has been PHENOMENAL!! After being on the waitlist on pretty much every school in a 30 minute radius we were excited when Great Brook opened and we have continually been more and more impressed. Our daughter has thrived. The curriculum is based on the Reggio Emilia approach and the children are constantly experimenting and interacting with their environment to learn new things. There is also a heavy emphasis on being outside in nature and the location of the school is perfect for that. Finally, the teachers and staff are amazing!!! Everyone is so kind and friendly and there is a real sense of community. All in all, we are so happy we didn’t get off any of the other waiting lists and even though the distance is at the far end of our radius we have no intention of leaving even if a closer spot was to open up. 10/10 recommend Great Brook!
Rebecca WebbMar 24, 2025We moved our three year old from a different daycare to Great Brook and could not be happier. The teachers are fantastic and the classroom is very peaceful, with soft lighting, rugs, and lots of activities. They spend as much time as they can outdoors, which my son also loves. He often comes home muddy with pink cheeks and I absolutely love it. He has music class every other week and they are opening up a dedicated art studio soon. Could not be happier with our decision!

The outdoor space is top notch and the building has been recently renovated with children in mind. We love the updates and photos we get throughout the day via the app. All of the teachers my son has had have been great and I feel very good about leaving him in their care everyday. So happy we found Great Brook School and highly recommend to anyone looking!

The girls are always excited to go and have a wonderful time exploring classrooms and the outdoor spaces. It is a great place for kids to learn and grow in a natural low stress environment.
Eric KoetheMar 18, 2025I am not sure I can put in words how much I love this place. Every child deserves a school like this one. The teachers encourage the students to explore their interests, experiment with new materials, and learn on their own timeline. The environment is warm and nurturing. The teachers provide daily updates through their app, so that I can see my kids are happy throughout the day. My kids spend a lot of their day outside - playing in the mud kitchen, or creating games in their large outdoor space. The owner is responsive to questions and thoughtful about safety. The teachers are kind, calm, and knowledgeable. Our community is lucky to have Great Brook.
