  • I’m sharing our experience so other parents have more insight when choosing a daycare. Our daughter was here for two years. The toddler classrooms (Toddler 1 and Toddler 2) were generally caring, but starting in preschool and older age groups, the approach became very traditional and strict. It was common to hear phrases like ‘you aren’t being nice’ instead of gentle redirection. There was one incident where a child was crying for a long time, and the teacher raised their voice instead of comforting them, which didn’t align with the more modern, research-based methods we value. During that time, our daughter cried at drop-off almost every day, and we assumed it was normal adjustment. But when we moved her to a new daycare, the change was immediate—she told us she didn’t want to go back to the old school, and she hasn’t cried once at drop-off since. This daycare may suit families who prefer a stricter, old-school style, but for parents seeking gentle guidance and a nurturing approach, it may not be the right fit.

  • I had a chance to do a magic show here for the children today, and I was so impressed with the staff. The kids were happy and excited and obviously well looked after.

  • I went here a long while ago, and I only have good memories of this place. Highly recommended!

  • My kid was there for about three years, starting from the infant room, and we loved it. The teachers are caring, and the staff is professional. We moved and changed the school, and my kid is not as happy as she was.

  • If you are looking for a daycare, I highly recommend GVCC. They have amazing longevity with staff that no other care centers can compete with and each classroom seems to have exactly what your child needs based on their age. The staff and leadership are so supportive and caring. I looked at other daycares when we moved to the area and I am SO happy with our decision. I have spoken to a few families that have changed to GVCC after starting at other local daycares and all wish they had gone there from the beginning. They recently installed a great new playground and have made upgrades in the classrooms as well. My two boys love going there and always come home happy and smiling. In addition, they have before/after school as well as summer programming for older kids which makes for an easy transition from daycare / prek to public school.

  • GVCC truly cares about their students and families. Our family can’t imagine our children being anywhere else - we feel so comfortable and able to trust that they are cared for and learning every day! My son talks about his teachers all the time, he loves them!
