We would definitely recommend this school to anyone who understands how important it is for kids to be able to freely play outside.

Their emergent curriculum, nature-based learning and commitment to inclusion are some of the reasons why we chose Heartwood over other nature-based programs closer to us. If you're looking for an alternative to traditional, early childhood education, look no further.

We couldn’t be happier with how much the teachers care for our son, the variety of activities and the general ethos and values of the school. Best decision we ever made for our son to send him to heartwood.

Matthew YaegerOct 6, 2024Heartwood has been the most amazing pre school experience for both of my children. The teachers are compassionate and kind, and the chance to learn and play outside in nature is the only way to do it in my opinion. We cherish this school and it’s magical environment!!
