We have had a wonderful experience with this daycare. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly passionate about what they do. They create a warm and nurturing environment where the children feel safe and loved. We are so grateful to have found this daycare in our community and highly recommend it to families with children of all ages, from infants to preschoolers.
Emi SopoJun 14, 2026We originally chose Holliston Kiddos after being impressed with the tour and seeing how happy our son seemed here. For months, we were satisfied with the care he received from the teachers. Unfortunately, the way the owner handled a billing issue has completely broken our trust. Our family has always been on auto-pay and never had a late payment. When one payment didn’t process due to an account issue, I updated it the same day and believed it was resolved. Instead of notifying us right away that the payment still hadn’t gone through, the administration said nothing for three weeks. Then, without warning, I received a call in the middle of a workday telling me my son had to be picked up immediately. We later learned they had only sent an email 30 minutes before that call, something we hadn’t even had time to see yet. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. Rather than a straightforward conversation, we were repeatedly told “it’s your responsibility” and given zero acknowledgment that timely, clear communication is also their responsibility. Their own handbook states that parents will be notified in multiple ways and that suspension begins the next day if tuition is unpaid, not three weeks later at the director’s convenience. Policies seemed to be used selectively, and communication was condescending and dismissive. We were truly sad to leave, because our son was happy with his teachers and friends. But after many attempts to reach an understanding, we were continuously met with references to the policy and treated as though we didn’t understand it, rather than the administration taking accountability for their lack of communication. There have been many other parents with the same issue, and from the recent reviews, it’s clear this is an ongoing pattern. You would think that after multiple situations like this, the owner would learn from her mistakes, but instead she continues to deflect and take no responsibility. While the teachers were kind to our son, the administration’s lack of accountability and poor communication is a serious concern. Based on our experience and seeing other reviews with similar themes I would urge prospective families to consider these issues carefully before enrolling.
Juliana BucklerSep 26, 2025Very professional experience with Holliston Kiddos. They always do fun activities with the kids and try to involve the families! Very careful with allergy concerns as well. Very happy !
Emily DovellSep 23, 2025Holliston Kiddos is an excellent daycare. If you’re looking for a safe, clean (!), and nurturing environment with a personalized approach to each child, this is the place. Their curriculum deserves special praise- my 3-year-old has learned so much, from the life cycle of a butterfly to real gardening, the alphabet, the scientific projects, international holidays, and even fun dances to get the wiggles out. The playground has many new toys and everything kids need to develop and have fun time outdoor. Teachers are very kind, understanding and caring, and this is the best part. I highly recommend this daycare.
Julia LemeshSep 8, 2025We were at this daycare for just shy of two years, we love the community of families that attend, however the owner is very challenging to communicate with & has created a hostile environment where face to face conversation is discouraged. Since we joined they have struggled to maintain a staff and have had continual turnover which has gotten significantly worse in the last 6 months. Parents are never informed when teachers leave and classroom structures are changing constantly with kids being shifted around so that they can squeeze by with their minimal staff. Unfortunately, we felt as though the stress of being short staffed was taken out on the children as well as parents. Rules and policies were constantly changing but rarely documented so you can't keep up, and if you question anything you will be reprimanded. The way the director runs this daycare and her lack of professionalism and respect for the families feels unacceptable.
Julie HSep 1, 2025Our toddler son went to HK for just under a year. We found the standard of care to be good, but we clashed with the administration. They are very strict about policy, but only when it suits them. You need a doctor's note to return to care for almost every ailment, which we found to be quite onerous. Administration has a communication style which, at times, comes off as patronizing. There was also a good amount of staff turnover during our time there, which I think speaks to issues within the ranks. All that being said, our son was well cared for and seemed to like his teachers. It just wasn't the right fit for us.
