  • 100 out of 5 Stars :) I honestly cannot praise or recommend the Homestretch team highly enough! Esther and Ellia have been taking my kid after school for years now, and it is clear that they and their staff really adore my kid. They've been there when our family has needed help due to ongoing family illness, and I always know that after school my son has a safe, stable, and FUN place to go! Like other reviewers, my kid has ADHD, and the team there really gets him. They know how to work with him and hold him accountable in appropriate ways. I know if there is an issue they'll either handle it, or reach out to me if they need to. My kid also has dietary issues, and they have been incredibly thoughtful and communicative about how to include him in special activities that involve treats (such as around the holidays). There is always something fun going on at Homestretch! My kid often comes home with fun projects, or having played some fun and active games. Their new space has a huge indoor play area, so the kids can get their energy out regardless of the weather! Seriously - I really don't know what we would do without Homestretch. Thank you as always Ellia, Esther and team :)

  • If you’re looking for an afterschool program where your kids are actually known and cared about, this is it. You can really feel how much Ellia cares about what she’s building. She’s put together a team that works well together and truly shows up for the kids every day. Everyone is kind and welcoming, and they’ve made a real effort to get to know our family. That’s meant a lot to us. We’ve tried other programs before, and this just feels different. I’ll never forget that from the beginning, her and Esther said they aim to make it feel like a second home, an “in-home child care in a safe, professional setting.” And honestly, that’s exactly how it feels. The communication is great, and the relationships the staff build with the kids remind me more of extended family than just a program. Both of my kids feel comfortable there. They’re supported, encouraged, and genuinely cared for. The new space is so much bigger than where they started, and the kids really use all of it. The team goes the extra mile in ways big and small, jumping into messy activities with the kids, mentoring them, running a fun little snack store, staying on top of communication through the apps, and keeping everything clean and organized. We’re just really grateful we found this place. It’s been such a positive experience for our family!

  • We absolutely love the team at Homestretch Kids Club! Our child started in the Fall and the owner, Ellia, and her team have been nothing short of wonderful and accommodating to our and our child's needs. Ellia went above and beyond during the Beverly strike to make sure kids were taken care of and parents had adequate care, and we'll be forever grateful!

  • My seven year old son attended homestretch for afterschool . I recommend it without reservations. Everyday when they picked him up from school they checked in with him exactly how I would have and asked how his day was. While at aftercare they helped him with school work , played games with him, helped him build positive friendships , and did crafts. What really stood out to us is that they genuinely loved my son , saw his strengths , and celebrated his accomplishments. He also loved going to the park with them! He looked forward to going each day because he knew he was valued.
