  • *UPDATE 2026-06-23* : Don’t trust the positive reviews here. See updates below. Reply to LPC’s response: LPC cannot respond because everything we wrote is based on 100% real experiences and facts. Odd that they DID NOT DENY any of the actual issues, right? They simply cannot. Their reply was exactly the same kind of deflection we experienced from LPC’s director, who repeatedly ignored our complaints and refused to communicate before we left. Read the updates below to see how far they went while doing nothing meaningful to fix the problems. *UPDATE 2026-06-06* : Don’t trust the positive reviews here. Soon after my UPDATED negative review, a SECOND positive review appeared despite no other review for years. I don’t believe it’s pure coincidence at all. *UPDATE 2026-06-04* : Don’t trust the positive reviews here. Soon after my initial negative review, an updated positive review appeared despite no other review for years. I don’t believe it’s pure coincidence at all. A truly safe and well-managed daycare should address parents' safety and communication concerns directly, rather than PR management. ORIGINAL COMMENTS: Do not send your children to LPC. Many things have gone wrong in the past few months. Earlier reviews no longer reflect current quality. Their new director Karen started late 2025. Our child received many similar injuries in the past few months. The director ignored all our requests to meet and discuss. The level of negligence was absurd. Several injuries didn’t even have incident reports. We also saw or heard some teachers yelled NO or STOP to kids and left them crying on different occasions. Bad things happen on the top and on the root. We could feel something was very wrong. We were notified of a regular teacher leaving on the same day. No thank you notes, no reason. On some other days, all the teachers we met barely wanted to move or greet. Obviously low morale. We are leaving two stars only because some of teachers were very helpful. If they ever see this, we hope they will move to a more reputable childcare or find their own profession. Not recommended at all!!!!!!!

  • I would not recommend LPC based on our recent experience!!!!!!
Since the leadership change in late 2025, the quality of care and communication seem to have declined sharply. Our child experienced multiple injuries over a short period of time, and several incidents were not documented. We repeatedly requested a meeting with management but were unable to have a meaningful discussion about our concerns. Based on our recent experience, we cannot recommend this childcare center!!!!!!!

We also observed concerning interactions between staff and children, including harsh yelling and children being left upset. Overall, the environment felt disorganized, low-energy, and not aligned with the high tuition. Not recommend!!!

  • Our daughter attended LPC for 4 years and I really can't say enough good things. She recently left to attend kindergarten and we all miss LPC so much. The people are great, the admin is excellent and the facility is amazing. Mike M.

  • Lexington Playcare Center is an amazing and special place! My daughter went there from 15 months to 5 years old. The teachers and staff are ALL wonderful, kind, supportive, and love working with children. The curriculum is creative, fun, enriching, and encourages children to love learning. It's the type of place you never want to leave! We will be forever grateful for the time Charlotte spent there, the experiences she had, and the memories she made.

  • *UPDATE 2026* My original review was based on my toddler daughter’s experience, and now that our son has also gone through LPC, I can’t reiterate enough how positive of an experience we’ve had with this magical place. LPC has truly become part of our family (so much so that we return for alumni events each year!!). The staff, including the new director Karen, are doing a wonderful job creating a play-based environment where children are encouraged to be curious, imaginative, and kind. Both of our children thrived at LPC. They developed confidence, independence, curiosity, and meaningful friendships in an environment where they felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. As parents, there is nothing more reassuring than this. Highly recommend!! *** Our toddler daughter attends LPC and we couldn't be happier with the care and education that she receives there! The teachers are incredibly patient, kind, and creative - they come up with interesting and educational ways to engage the children. The student-teacher ratios are one of the best in the area and the facilities are clean, engaging, and fun for kids of all ages. After coming to LPC from knowing only a nanny her entire life, our daughter's transition was seamless. One week of sadness has now translated into months of fun and excitement about attending "school". We are so thankful to the staff at LPC and highly recommend it for any parent looking for a fun, educational, and engaging environment for their little one.

  • Both of our kids went to LPC, so we got to spend many wonderful years observing what a great place this is. Every morning was a happy morning entering the school, and each day was filled with play and learning. LPC teachers are so dedicated to children, and focus on teaching important skills that help make for a better start at Kindergarten. There was also an extensive focus on social skills and problem solving in social situations. We have so many fond memories of this place, given that we started in the toddler room and stayed until it was time to start Kindergarten. In fact both of my kids still wish they could go back to LPC :-)
