Incredibly special school! We love the Reggio-Emilia philosophy, and the DeCordova location allows for unparalleled access to nature and art. We feel like this is truly the best nursery school in Greater Boston and beyond!
Jessica GalicaMay 14, 2026Our children have been at Lincoln Nursery School going on two years now and we couldn't be more impressed by the culture that has been developed over the last 80+ years. It is a true community with a focus on child development. Our kids are so happy going to school every day, they love their teachers, they love the campus, and they have so much fun with their classmates. Truly such a wonderful place.
Trevor Wissink-AdamsNov 7, 2025Sending our child to LNS feels like hitting the preschool jack pot. The balance of excellent Reggio Emilia curriculum housed amidst beautiful sculptures and with access to nature is pretty close to ideal. The teachers are masterful and I walk away from each “family partner day” a better parent with new tools to work with. The icing on the cake is the sense of community we have due in large part to LNS being a coop.
Akemi MartinJun 11, 2024All three of my children attended LNS. They are all very different personalities/learning profiles, but each one had a magical experience. The staff is deeply committed to creating a warm and safe environment while supporting the children on their learning and explorations. The play based curriculum is meaningful and enjoyable to the children, so they are well prepared for elementary school.
