Little Bees Lab Preschool Watertown

Little Bees Lab Preschool in Watertown is an amazing place for young children to grow and learn. The new director, Ileana, has brought fresh energy and a warm, welcoming leadership style that truly stands out. The communication and responsiveness of the staff is outstanding. The teachers are attentive and passionate, their level of engagement with the children is outstanding and they make this a special place for children to grow, learn, and thrive.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this daycare is! From the very first day, the teachers have treated my son with such care and attention, easing my initial nerves about him starting daycare. He loves his teachers and has made great friends. I especially appreciate the way they accommodate both the children and parents. They handle him gently when I drop him off, which puts me at ease. The facility has a large private park and a spacious indoor play area, perfect for keeping the kids active and happy. Every time I pick him up, he’s all smiles and seems so content. Highly recommend this daycare for any parent looking for a nurturing environment!

Our bad experience has been with the administration of Little Bees and the director in particular. Our infant has been going to this daycare for a couple months now and we recently had an overpayment with proof of receipts and messages. We gave over a month's notice to leave, and yet on our last day we received an ACH autopay notice through Brightwheel for the next payment and have been unable to get a refund. It's easy to update an app payment for a business, but it's not easy for a family to be out of a huge chunk of cash that might be needed when they have been unable to refund our last overpayment (and seemed reluctant to?!?). Happy to update review if this gets resolved. That said, we have really loved the infant room teachers and they are wonderful and caring, especially Ms Liang, thank you! Edited review: both the owner and director reached out only after this review was posted, despite efforts to reach them earlier to resolve it over a couple weeks earlier. Director refused to believe we overpaid too, despite us offering to show her the day-by-day accounting math…It was beyond frustrating. We did get most of the refund back, but lost hours fighting this which was a fully administrative error.
