Little Learners Preschool, Inc.

I called this school back in March asking to enroll my 4,5 year old son in September. I was told that they were having graduation in August therefore there would be plenty of spots in September. The school is close to our house so with that info we just waited for a school tour that took place on April 26. On that day we were told again that there would be a lot of openings in September. Since May 1 I started calling the school asking regarding enrollment process so I can secure the spot for my son. There was a person who answered the phone, took messages, she again told me that September is a good time to enroll as they will have openings, however, no one called me back. On May 17 I received an email from Leanna saying there are no spots for September and if there is an opening they will contact me via email. Disappointed is a very light word to describe how I feel. I started calling other schools in the area and there was waitlist everywhere now. I don’t even know now what we will do. I wasted 2 months of my time following Little Learners enrollment steps, but was declined last minute.I truly believe that those teachers do their determination who to accept and who to decline when they see your child. Because the same thing happened to my older son back in 2020. I thought it was COVID, bad luck, etc. but it’s definitely not. They didn’t like something about my child during the tour and closed their doors to us. It just can’t happen that on April 26 there were openings and on May 1 they didn’t get back to me already. They knew since March, when I first called, that we want to enroll for September, and now we have to find something else when it’s too late. I would stay away from them. If they think they have a right to determine whether a preschooler is a good fit for their school or not by looking at him once then I question their moral qualities as early education teachers. I have healthy active children with great endorsement from their daycare teachers and it just hurts so much that someone can decline your child like this without giving any reason. Something is telling me that the real reason is that we are multilingual with a foreign background and I advise them to be careful about that because it can be a lawsuit. They have to treat everyone equally regardless race and origin.

Very happy with the teachers. Our little one loved it there and made so many great friends and wonderful memories.

The school has a well-structured program. They provide monthly calendars that lists academics, arts and activities they will learn. The school provides weekly progress and review of the students’ character, activity and academic performance. There are plenty of activities that enhances the children social skills. Teachers are energetic, very positive and personable. The school is clean with a bright atmosphere. As parents, we feel very involved with the daily feedbacks from the teachers. Our child likes going to Little Learners Preschool Inc every day and always look forward to learning new things.

Little Learners is by far the best preschool program in Sandwich and the surrounding towns. The small mixed age school is beneficial for our son as he learns so much from other aged children. The teachers are kind and attentive. And the program is nicely structured with so many educational activities and time for play. Our son absolutely loves going and even cries that he doesn’t want to leave when we come to pick him up! And as parents, we feel very included in his school with weekly progress notes and daily feedback from the teachers. Great job Miss Beth and Miss Lianna! If you’re a parent looking for a great preschool, Little Learners is the best.

Little Learners has everything I could look for in a school for my son. The teachers are kind, attentive, and patient. My son loves their program. Miss Beth, Miss Lyanna & Miss Christine truly know how to peak their interest and always spend genuine one on one time with each student to make sure each child thrives. My son is always learning new things from science, to gardening to learning a new instrument. We drive a half an hour there and back daily because we are so happy with Little Learners...it is well worth the drive! :)
