We put all four of our children through Little Steps starting in 2013 and ending this year, 2026, with our last child graduating this August! We can't say enough about Little Steps and the entire staff. Our children were always cared for with love and compassion in a meticulously clean and welcoming environment. The staff are fantastic. Jess and Julie (in the main office) communicate on a regular basis and are always there to help. All of our children's teachers have been wonderful. Miss Jamie Lynn does a phenomenal job preparing her pre-k students for kindergarten in a supportive, nurturing environment. Several teachers have been there for the entirety of our family's time with the school. That type of longevity in this field points to a wonderful environment to work filled with supported and committed teachers. All of our children have very fond memories of their time at Little Steps, from fun art projects to playing outside, doing yoga, my gym and more! We will truly miss the family we made at Little Steps over many, many years and highly recommend Little Steps to all!
sara speraApr 16, 2026My daughter has been in the care of Little Steps teachers since she was 4 months old. We love it there. She has been supported in her development, her struggles, and learning the whole way. I highly recommend Little Steps Learning Center to any family looking for a wonderful place their child will be cared for.
Amanda GloverApr 15, 2026We have been with Little Steps for nearly a year and we are very happy with our experience. We put our child in LS as new parents returning to work with an infant. Jess and Julie instantly put us at ease and made the transition smooth and transparent. LS is communicative and supportive. The infant classroom teachers are caring, dedicated, patient, and intuitive. The teachers plan thoughtful, development stage-appropriate activities and share a monthly calendar with the parents. The arts and crafts are fun for the kids and get sent home to the parents! Even teachers that don’t oversee your child’s classroom know the kids by name and give you a sense of community and genuine care. With the help of the Tadpoles app, you always know what’s going on with your child and you even get to see pictures of them throughout the day. Our child has also learned so much from the teachers. The teachers are always asking what they can work on with your child and follow through. It’s an amazing thing knowing our child is learning, socializing, growing, and playing in a safe, comfortable environment. We are so grateful to be part of LS!
The O'ConnorsApr 14, 2026Choosing a daycare while pregnant was really overwhelming. Finding a place that you feel comfortable with as a parent for a baby you've not yet met feels like a big ask. From the first tour to our first drop off, Little Steps has been a wonderful partner in caring for my son. The whole staff is warm and they all clearly love children. During milestones like starting solids, learning to walk, and moving to the toddler room, the Little Steps team has been supportive and open. It is clear that my son loves school and that he feels safe and supported. Flexibility, kindness, and joy are words that come to mind when I think about Little Steps. My son has flourished so much and I really do see the teachers there as partners in my son's development.
Alexandra D'AgostinoApr 13, 2026We love Little Steps! The teachers are warm, attentive, supportive and have helped our little guy grow and blossom from a tiny 3 month old baby to a now 20 month old toddler. We always feel good dropping him off and the staff are so understanding and compassionate. Jess & Julie are the best, we are very grateful for them and Miss Mary goes above and beyond with keeping the little ones engaged and busy!
Emilie SheaMar 4, 2026We did not enjoy our experience. The first two years were good - my son’s toddler room teachers were great. Then he started preschool and the quality took a nose dive. Teachers are struggling with inadequate support and limited resources. School is quick to flag "behavioral concerns" under the pretense of wanting what’s best for them, but the director puts zero effort into communicating what’s going on or being partners to help parents, and the teachers are stretched too thin to help. Meanwhile, my son was repeating inappropriate things at home that he'd heard from his teachers ("You're out of control! Santa doesn't bring gifts to kids who don't listen!" etc), and my husband saw a teacher drag a student by his shoulders at pick up one day. We started a new school a few months ago and it’s been a refreshing change; they've been great partners and it’s the best thing I could have done for my son.
