  • Nashoba Montessori in Northboro exceeded every possible expectation that I had for my son. He joined the program having never attended daycare or preschool and my only hope was that his first experience with school would be a positive one. Not only did he look forward to attending school each day but he developed a passion and love for learning that I never imagined would happen so quickly. The teachers are incredibly supportive and caring from the morning greeting through dismissal. The individual support that each student receives is like no other. I love the focus on respect and compassion, as well as life skills across a continuum from food preparation to managing frustrations. To see my child light up with excitement to share something new that he has learned or to see the positive changes in how he interacts with his siblings has been such a privilege. I could not be more grateful that my son has such a strong foundation for his future learning and overall identity as a student because of Nashoba Montessori. I truly believe he is more than prepared to transition into any future learning setting as a result of this experience. I wish every child could begin their relationship with learning in this way.

  • We chose to send our daughter to Nashoba Montessori after a year in traditional preschool and have never looked back! The teachers consistently provide her with unconditional positive regard and yet continue to challenge her in ways I did not know were possible with a 3 year old. She comes home excited to share the work that she completes and sometimes teaches us new things! We love the emphasis placed on respect, the environment and the way that they are able to explore and experience other cultures. She comes home from school so centered. I have noticed a huge increase in the amount of time that she can play independently and her imagination has just exploded. She does things with a sense of purpose and attention to detail. We are so certain that we made the right choice in deciding to send her to Nashoba Montessori.

  • Both of our children attended Nashoba Montessori for a total of 6 years and we cannot say enough great things about their experience. Our children were always greeted with a handshake and a warm welcome everyday and left looking happy and with light in their eyes. Our relationship with the teachers felt like family and they spoke with grace and respect to all the children. All of the teachers have a very calming and nurturing way about them. We loved their Montessori classroom because they were exposed to many treasures from a wealth of cultures around the world. We loved that the children in the school are able to choose what they are interested in while learning, making their own path to new discoveries. We were able to see our children grow their confidence and independence and most of all their love of learning. Our children were given a wonderful foundation that included sharing with those in need, self discipline, respect for each other and their environment, responsibility and compassion. The transition to public school kindergarten was natural. The teachers have always commented on how respectful our children are in the classroom and our family is so grateful that they love school! If you’re looking for a wonderful place for your children to learn, this is it !

  • I can not say enough good things about this school! My two girls went to school here for 2 years and I highly recommend it! I was a Montessori teacher for over 10 years and I knew this was a special place the moment I stepped inside. The teachers are simply amazing, the environment is gorgeous and our children took away so much from their time here. The community is also so wonderful and you really get a chance to connect with the other families. 5 stars all around!
