  • We joined the waitlist when our child was an infant and watched the queue move to #4 over time. When aging into the toddler room, our child was moved to a separate waitlist at #22 — something that was never explained to us upfront. We called multiple times during business hours to understand what happened and never received a callback. The program only responded after we left this review. In addition to their public reply, the director sent a private email expressing disappointment in our review and offering a refund — contingent on being removed from the waitlist entirely. Parents should be aware that raising concerns publicly may result in pressure to leave the program. To their credit, their public reply did clarify the mechanics: separate waitlists by classroom, sibling priority, and only 1–2 toddler openings per year. That context would have been helpful before we spent months wondering what went wrong. Other parents should know going in that the number you see on the waitlist may reset when your child ages into a new classroom, and that toddler openings are extremely limited. The program itself may be great — the waitlist communication is not.

  • I’d give 10 stars if I could! This place is absolutely amazing, there are no words to describe!!!! My son was enrolled at Odyssey for 2 years…from infant 1 - toddler 2. We recently moved out of state which is the only reason he isn’t there still (although we actually considered keeping him enrolled and driving the hour because we loved Odyssey that much)!! The staff are absolutely unbelievable!!! Loving, caring, professional and provide regular updates (pictures and messages) throughout the day via Bright-wheel which I loved! I found that the curriculum (whether cognitive, social, emotional etc) was age appropriate and the developmental evaluations by staff were helpful and spot on. Most important to me, I always knew my son would be safe and well-cared for while at Odyssey. He loved his teachers and friends, enjoyed going to school and was always in a great mood when I picked him up at the end of the day! Amidst COVID, Odyssey always implemented appropriate precautions and was immaculately clean!

  • We’ve been extremely happy with the care, education & overall service that Odyssey has provided our son. My son has been going there for a year and a half, since he was 18 months old. The curriculum, daily structure, social interaction & activities have all been very beneficial for him. We’ve also been both very appreciative and comforted by their response to COVID. Between the thorough communication, to the additional precautions put in place, we feel very safe sending our son to Odyssey 5 days a week.

  • My son went to Odyssey Early Learning Academy from age 3 months to 20 months. The facility is clean and organized . The teachers are responsive. My son was well cared for and I trusted them completely. We only stopped going here because we moved to the suburbs. I have yet to find a daycare that compares to Odyssey in my new town. They are also very affordable and provided food which saved me a ton of time after work.

  • I can’t say enough good things about Odyssey. My daughter went here for about 1 year. The only reason she is no longer there is because we live in Dallas. The school is well run, the administration is extremely communicative, the teachers are loving and care for the children deeply and the school was kept SO clean. My daughter loved going to school and I will forever be grateful to Amanda for running such a wonderful place. I can only hope to find a new place to my little one that is comparable.

  • Finding a daycare is hard enough - but finding a quality daycare that truly cares is even harder...that is why we are so glad to that our family found Odyssey. Our daughter started there when she was 7 months old and she has just thrived. The staff are incredibly caring and kind. The center is bright, clean and well maintained and there is even a little outdoor space for kids to play when it is nice outside. We appreciate Odyssey's use of an app that allows us to keep up to date on our daughter's progress, communicate with staff and also to send us photos of her throughout the day. The COVID closure hit everyone hard but we appreciated the way that the director handle what was a truly unprecedented situation with care and thoughtfulness. Communication was clear and their return to care plan was well communicated and did much to lessen our anxiety about returning to daycare. As working parents, we rely on daycare and it is a blessing to know that our little one is taken care of when we are at work. The interaction she gets with the staff and with other kids her age is awesome and so important to her emotional and social well-being and her ability to learn. Early childhood educators are amazing people, especially those at Odyssey!
