Ms. Nancy and Mr. Rick do an incredible job. When we were looking for a preschool for our daughters, we knew right away that they would be well taken care of at PB. There is an amazing outdoor space and lots of opportunities for outdoor play. All of the teachers are filled with experience and really connect with the kids. We also love the curriculum and preparation for kindergarten. It truly feels like a tight knit community and the student to teacher rating is nice and low. Our daughters have learned so much and love going to school each day. There is a great summer program option as well - and the school is so flexible and accommodating with changing schedules.
Amanda DonahueJul 13, 2026I cannot recommend this school enough and I feel so lucky that we stumbled upon it in our search for preschools when my son was just 2.5 yo. The owners, Nancy and Rick, (as well as their staff) care deeply about the kids and truly want them to learn, grow and be the best little versions of themselves (both academically and socially). The teachers are constantly changing the activities and toys in the classroom and my son always looked forward to the new experiences. In the time that my son was at the school he learned so much, became so much more confident and independent and developed a real love for learning and school. Most days he wanted to stay as late as possible! I also think the owners work hard to make the school feel like it’s own little community with several events throughout the year that involve the families (Father/Son T-Ball game, Fall Open House, Holiday/Christmas Pageant, Mothers Day, Father’s Day and Grandparents Day events). Now that my son is now 5.5 yo and about to start Kindergarten our time at PB has come to an end and it is definitely bittersweet. We are going to miss the comfort and support that the teachers and school provided, but at the same time we know that my son is ready for the next chapter and that the foundation and skills he gained from this school will carry him far.
Amy KisbyJul 12, 2026If I could give this place zero stars I would. The man is totally fine. His wife is the one who really runs the place and she is cruel. The first day my 2.5 year old showed up she ripped the pacifier out of her mouth and literally said, “you can’t use this in my school; only babies use pacifiers - you’re not a baby, are you?” in the nastiest tone of voice. That should’ve been a sign right then and there. I found out later that they segregated her into a classroom all her own bc she has ASD-1 and was having serious difficulties understanding directions (but no misbehavior). So, you just put her away so you don’t have to deal with her? The woman has a real resentment towards children and I have heard from 3-4 families that she got really nasty with them and their kids for age appropriate behavior. Run the other direction. I wouldn’t go back or send my youngest there if THEY paid ME.
Eliza LaneMay 31, 2025More people should know about this amazing preschool!! The husband and wife that run it are amazing, it's an over-used phrase but they really are like family. My kids ADORE all the teachers, and they have a really thoughtful approach to early childhood education. 11/10 the only way I'm making it through being a mom with young kids. Thanks Mr. Rick and Ms. Nancy!!
Monica GranucciMay 20, 2024Phenomenal pre-k program with ownership and staff that truly care about your child. We love the amount of time they spend outdoors, special creative projects, and immersive learning themes. Our daughter is excelling and as a first time parent with no family in the area, they have provided us invaluable support through major milestones. I was nervous to leave her during her first week but got pictures and videos of her making new friends. My child looks forward to going to school and even gets upset on weekends when she doesn't have school! They have a half day summer program so after it was over, we went to another school and she couldn't wait to go back to PB where she felt cared for and participated in engaging activities. At PB there are also special events and a show for the holidays. There was even a special Mother's and Father's Day event with special gifts we will cherish forever.
