After relocating to Massachusetts nearly two years ago, we began searching for a preschool that was academically strong, nurturing, and safe for our child. We quickly realized that Primrose School was the perfect fit. From day one, the entire staff has been kind, communicative, and genuinely caring not only towards our child, but to our entire family. That level of support has made a meaningful difference in our experience. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Primrose community and can’t thank the administrative staff, wonderful teachers, and support team members enough for making our family feel so welcome!
ChantalJul 13, 2026We had a wonderful experience with Primrose! We truly appreciated the dedicated teachers who consistently showed up for our son with care, patience, and encouragement. He thrived during his time there, built wonderful connections with his peers, and grew both academically and socially. He started at Primrose in preschool and recently graduated from Pre-K. We are so grateful for the positive foundation the school helped provide and highly recommend Primrose to other families!
Cassandra ElieJul 13, 2026Our experience at Primrose for the last year has been wonderful. We have two children enrolled here, a 5.5 year old attending kindergarten soon, and a 3 year old. Both children have received excellent care. From the day they started, they were made to feel welcome and supported. There is a clear curriculum that is followed from corporate Primrose, and we receive regular updates on their activity, learning, and any concerns. We feel confident our oldest is ready to go off to kindergarten with the learning she's had since being at Primrose. The school is clean, well organized, and safe. They provide all meals (breakfast, lunch, and two snacks), which is hugely helpful. We highly recommend Primrose at Blue Hills for anyone looking for early childcare and lives in the Canton area.
Shari FergusonJun 23, 2026I only wish zero star ratings were possible. Unfit leadership failed to keep children safe from physical harm. Some wonderful teachers but many are leaving due to unsafe environment, poor communication and complete disregard for the wellbeing of children. From the period of September 2025 through June 2026, we repeatedly raised concerns regarding our son’s safety and well-being. Incidents escalated from bathroom privacy supervision to a classmate's violent language and severely inappropriate physical incidents causing our immediate withdrawal of two children. Our concerns were raised numerous times through emails, conversations, and meetings with teachers and leadership over many months. There were many teachers covering the class in this period, so there was no consistency of care or supervision. Leadership failed to address any complaints with the seriousness, urgency, or follow-through they warranted. Similar issues continued to arise after being reported, and we saw little evidence that meaningful interventions or safeguards were put in place. In fact, concerns were often minimized with responses such as “boys will be boys” and “kids are curious.” Beyond troubling incidents, there is a pattern of unfit leadership and unacceptable care. The school has been reported to officials accordingly. Based on our experience, we no longer have any confidence in the center’s ability to provide a safe environment for children - the most fundamental requirement of a daycare facility. We would not advise any family to enroll. As one of the first families to join the center, we had an initially positive experience with some truly caring teachers but over time there was a clear decline in leadership, communication, and how serious problems were handled.
Sarah Balal DiLilloJun 23, 2026From September 2025 through June 2026, we repeatedly raised serious concerns about our child's safety and well-being. These included issues around bathroom privacy supervision, a classmate’s aggressive and inappropriate language, and physical incidents that ultimately led us to withdraw both of our children. We escalated these concerns multiple times through emails, in-person conversations, and meetings with both teachers and leadership over many months. During this period, the classroom had a constant rotation of staff, with many different teachers covering the class. The lack of consistency was noticeable and directly impacted supervision and overall care. What ultimately drove our decision was not just the incidents themselves, but the pattern in how they were handled by leadership. Despite repeated escalation, we did not see meaningful follow-through. Issues we raised continued to arise, and we did not observe clear, lasting changes being put in place. Some of the responses we received minimized the seriousness of the concerns rather than addressing them head-on. When you are trusting a center with your children, that kind of response is deeply concerning and, in our view, unacceptable. Our experience started off positively, with several caring and dedicated teachers. However, over time we saw a clear decline in consistency, communication, and how more serious concerns were managed. By the end, we no longer felt comfortable keeping our children enrolled. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this center and would encourage families to look closely at other options.
Tim DJun 22, 2026We have our son in the toddler program and we can’t say enough good things about the Primrose school in Canton. I’d give 6 stars if it let me. The school is always incredibly clean. Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been so kind, and it’s clear they care deeply about the work they do. The school provides all snacks, meals, and napping gear which makes our lives as parents so much easier. They share updates and photos through out the day so we get to see how much fun our son is having :). Highly recommend Primrose for any family looking for a top notch day care facility.
