  • Really can’t recommend Six Acres enough. The teachers are patient, kind, and take the time to really understand each kid and help them grow. Our four year old son’s confidence has really blossomed there. He’s learned a lot academically but even more in terms of social/emotional development and awareness. This year’s experience has been wonderful and we’ll be sending him back for another year in September.

  • Both of my children attended Six Acres and they loved it. The teachers and director are so caring and attentive. The activities are so creative and they really engage the children. I was so sad when the kids moved on to Kindergarten because we all loved Six Acres so much.

  • Six Acres is so special to our family and such an amazing place! Our 4 year old has attended for two years and will be attending for a 3rd year again in the fall (we also sent our elementary kid to Six Acres). Both of our kids have truly thrived and built up tons of confidence under the attentive and experienced care of their teachers. The teachers really support the individualized growth of each kid and work hard to provide a creative and fun (yet also structured!) learning environment. Everyone shows up with so much energy, love, and dedication to the kids- the staff really do go above and beyond to make six acres the supportive and welcoming place that it is. The Director is also on top of everything, sending out regular updates, answering emails right away, and somehow memorizing everyone's name as she greets families in the morning at the door. Also, there is both a really expansive outdoor play area and a large indoor play area (separate from the classrooms) for inclement weather days. I could go on! We have really loved being a part of the Six Acres community for the past four years and so have our kids ♥️

  • Everything you want in a preschool! Six acres has been a wonderful decision for our children. The teachers are caring, attentive, and a resource for parents, with minimal turnover. The curriculum advances as the years progress and students are ready for kindergarten when they graduate. Parent involvement is welcome, but not required. The director is very responsive and knows every student. She's often in classrooms and has added new enrichment activities in the years we've been there. The outdoor space is wonderful and the children enjoy it everyday (weather permitting). Classroom sizes are small and there are many schedule options (days/wk and end time: 1, 2, or 3pm). This is a preschool though, not a daycare. School hours and calendar are similar to elementary school. If that works for your family, it is a wonderful introduction to fun, quality learning.

  • My son attended Six Acres, which prepared him very well for kindergarten. He associates it with being a happy, kind learning environment with beautiful art on the walls, and now my 4-year old daughter who attends the school does too. Her skills have grown a lot over the past year, and we are happy that she will be able to understand the goings on of a classroom once she gets to kindergarten. Highly recommend!

  • A wonderful small community preschool. My child has thrived at 6 acres. Consistent, experienced, and talented teachers. Organized and strong leadership. Small class size with lots of individualized attention. Thanks 6 acres!!
