Im not sure why my son was denied daycare services from here. However it may be for the good. I let director know that my child is coming from another daycare but he had several injuries and dcf had been investigating. For this reason I had to pull my child out of that daycare. I let her know that my classes begin in September and if I can’t find a daycare, school would be almost impossible. Also, he needed transportation which they provide but she said that the driver will not be able to pick him up from the bus stop. Once she said no, I let her know that I will get him to daycare on my own. After that, she showed me around. I asked her for the enrollment document and she said she wouldn’t give it to me. I haven’t heard from her since. If the situation with his former daycare bothered her (even though my son didn’t do anything to deserve the treatment he received) it may be a sign that they may have similar tactics as far as correcting and disciplining children. It’s unfortunate that a Director of a learning center would not care about mothers who are furthering their education and would reject them because she is worried about what appears to be a lack of patience and selfishness on her end. A call back saying he was denied or they are refusing service would have been the professional thing to do. You have to be careful of how you behave around people you don’t know. You never know who you are talking to or connected with.
