Sunshine Childcare Center III

Our son Ollie started at Sunshine at just 2 years old, a little shy and unsure, and over the next three years, we watched him blossom into a confident, curious, and joyful kid. The team at Sunshine created an environment where our child felt safe, engaged, and excited to learn. Their approach to care and teaching was thoughtful and intentional, filled with activities that sparked creativity and curiosity. It’s clear they pour their hearts into every aspect of what they do. We also deeply appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were. As working parents, we always felt supported, whether it was adjusting schedules or offering a kind word on busy days. They truly made life easier for us. When it was time for our child to graduate, which was few years ago, it was bittersweet. Sunshine was more than just a daycare—it was a place where our child grew, laughed, and made some of their earliest and happiest memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and wholeheartedly recommend Sunshine to anyone looking for a caring, fun, and nurturing place for their children. We especially appreciated how sweet and kind the director Blue has been to us for the years we have been there, we’ll forever think fondly of our experience at Sunshine.

Our daughter attended Sunshine in Malden for over four years (from age 3 months to 4.5 years when we moved out of state), and it was an absolutely wonderful experience, especially as it helpful us keep up our daughter's learning of Mandarin. (Though we had many friends through the daycare who didn't speak Mandarin in the home and loved Sunshine for many of the same reasons we did!) The teachers and staff are kind and friendly and treated us like family - the teachers from previous grades would regularly stop to talk to our daughter in the morning even after she hadn't been in their classroom for years. The daycare has a liveliness and energy that was a great fit for us, and it was clear the staff and leadership took quality of care and safety very seriously. We miss Sunshine and couldn't recommend it more!

Our son has been in Sunshine Childcare at Malden for almost two years and he has stayed in three different classes. All the teachers in his three classes are super nice. The Sunshine teachers are truly caring for each kid and they always patiently listen to parents' feedback and advice. The food is decent and the curriculum is of high quality. Our son has learned a lot, made very good friends, and most importantly, been very happy every day. Plus, they have used a Mobile App to communicate with parents and you can often receive photos of your kid. The teachers and the whole Sunshine management team are so warmhearted, responsive, and trustworthy, and we have never worried about our son when we are busy during the day (which I think is the most important factor parents have to consider when picking the daycare for their kid). We have recently moved out of the Boston area, but we are truly missing Sunshine and every single person there. We have to say that sending our son to Sunshine was the best decision we had ever made since his birth. We are so grateful to have been part of the Sunshine family. If you are Chinese parent(s) or you are willing to let your kid learn some Chinese culture at early ages, I would highly recommend Sunshine Childcare. Trust me. My daughter has been coming here for almost four years and has been in all the classes. Honestly can’t say enough good things about Sunshine Malden. They’ve been so great to her (and to us). The whole team is amazing - it’s a really welcoming place, she’s learned a lot, and pretty much since she started she’s had fun going / clearly enjoys it.

We love Sunshine. We send both our daughters there (ages 3 & 1). Our three year old started in their Boston facility and transferred to the Malden location at two years. She now speaks and understands Chinese!
