We absolutely love BMSS and its staff. Our two boys, Benjamin, in primary and Graham, in the toddler room, couldn't have received a better education from more sensitive, caring teachers. After looking at dozens of preschools, we interviewed with Miss Linda. Her demeanor, knowledge, and interactions with Benjamin were the deciding factor for us to choose BMSS. Miss Linda's attention to detail, beauty, excellence, and her deep heart for children make BMSS an example of Montessori education. Over the three years we were there, I knew my children were safe and loved and that we were a team with the teachers. The education is unmatched, the care is everything I hoped for, and the overwhelming sense of peace in the building allowed for my children to blossom. After aging out, Benjamin has skipped directly to 1st grade, where he is reading above grade level and doing complex multiplication and division. More importantly, teachers and parents comment frequently that my children are polite, conscientious, and respectful - which I credit in large part to Miss Linda and BMSS. We wholeheartedly endorse BMSS and look forward to its reopening.
Alexandra KahveciNov 6, 2025A Yearlong Nightmare at The Bilingual Montessori School of Sharon Sending our daughter to this Montessori school was one of the biggest mistakes we’ve ever made as parents. What was supposed to be a nurturing environment for our two-year-old turned out to be an emotionally exhausting and deeply concerning experience from start to finish. Our daughter had just turned two in September, and by October, the headmaster, Ms. Linda, called a conference with my husband and me to tell us our daughter was showing “red flags” of autism because she preferred to play independently. The school strongly urged us to have her evaluated—so we did, three times. Each evaluation confirmed there were absolutely no signs of autism. Instead of fostering confidence or understanding early childhood development, the school seemed quick to pathologize normal toddler behavior. Parents were not allowed inside the building for drop-off or pickup, and communication was virtually nonexistent. Photos were only sent once a month, in bulk, and in nearly every image, our daughter—and many other children—were visibly distressed, often in tears. The school enforced absurd rules: no comfort items allowed—not even a small stuffed animal, pillow, or tissue to ease nerves. Teachers came and went without notice; we often found out from other parents or the children themselves that another staff member had quit. The final straw was the end-of-year “performance.” Parents were told to attend in Kentucky Derby-themed attire and to bring their “finest bottle of wine”—for a Monday morning event at 10 a.m. Ms. Linda announced from the microphone that the bar would be serving mimosas and Bloody Marys during intermission. She also instructed parents of the toddlers to “hide” so the children wouldn’t cry upon seeing them. The entire event felt inappropriate, pretentious, and completely out of touch with what a preschool environment should be. The school demanded six months of tuition upfront with no payment flexibility, required $200 uniforms and “classroom slippers,” and promised the “best education and teachers.” What we actually experienced was chaos, coldness, and a total lack of transparency. My husband and I dreaded every drop-off, knowing our daughter was unhappy. We later learned we weren’t alone—many parents shared similar concerns and regrets. Since then, we’ve noticed the school appears to have permanently closed, which frankly, is a relief for the community. To top it off, after leaving the school, we discovered a news article stating that Ms. Linda had been arrested prior to opening this daycare for an alarming incident involving aggression in a church parking lot. That revelation only deepened our sense of betrayal. If you are considering this school, please don’t. This place should never have been allowed to operate under the guise of a Montessori education. The glossy promises and polished marketing hide an environment that is anything but caring, safe, or professional.
Tess HollanderOct 10, 2025Bilingual Montessori School of Sharon has been a great and strong foundation for our son's formal educational journey. We are grateful to BMSS for nurturing our son's learning, social skills, music and language. He thrived at BMSS and formed amazing friendships. The Montessori education program fostered his critical thinking, confidence and independence. The school offers an incredibly safe, cheerful and clean environment for children to learn and grow to their full potential. The annual events organized by the school under Linda's leadership provide an exceptional experience for both children and parents. We sincerely thank Ms. Linda, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Hannah and Mr. Donny for imparting our son with a strong foundation in academics, life skills and social skills for life. If you are looking for a school with quality and strong foundation, BMSS is one such school for your child.
Fosa SinghMar 26, 2024I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Bilingual Montessori School of Sharon. My children thrived under Miss Linda’s guidance, and I am continually impressed by the sophistication of the curriculum and the high expectations set for our children. What sets BMSS apart is the diversity, kindness, and leadership that is woven into every aspect of the program. These values are not just taught but truly modeled and practiced daily in ways I have not found anywhere else. My children are rooted in music and creativity because of BMSS, and those foundations continue to shape who they are becoming. Miss Linda is genuinely passionate about the work she does. She puts her heart and elegance into her teaching, and it shows in everything from the daily lessons to the spectacular end-of-year recitals where toddlers through primary students perform. These performances are truly exceptional and not offered anywhere else. My daughter continues with her French classes and speaks French confidently, which is a testament to the quality of instruction she received. Guided by Miss Linda’s passion and vision, the staff delivers an outstanding education to all students. Yes, private school comes with a premium, but this was one of the greatest investments we have made for our children. We see the success and growth before our eyes every single day. Although my children have moved on to older grades, I am heartbroken about the temporary closure due to water damage. I hope the repairs are completed and the school reopens soon. Miss Linda, we know that you and the staff will get through this. I wholeheartedly recommend The Bilingual Montessori School of Sharon to any family seeking an exceptional, nurturing, and academically rigorous environment for their children.
Barbara JeanJul 30, 2021We are truly happy with how our child is embraced, nurtured and supported by the teachers during our three years journey at BMSS! When we first walked into the school, we know it was the school we wanted to send our daughter, artistic, warm, neat and clean. The combination of the Montessori teaching methods and philosophy along with the enriched dance and music programs has allowed my daughter to grow academically and socially! Especially we so appreciate everything they have done to keep the school open safely during the pandemic, and I can be at ease at work when she is at school knowing she is cared for, secure and in a place that facilitates her future success! Now my daughter is transitioning to the new school and BMSS has well prepared her with independence, confidence and happiness. She is still in love with her teachers at BMSS and talks about them to this day, Ms. Linda, Ms. Helene, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Swetha, great thanks to you all!
Athena LiJul 20, 2021The Bilingual Montessori School at Sharon provides outstanding environment for children to learn, grow and have fun! Our son joined their program when he was 2.5 years old …and sending him to Bilingual was the best decision we took for him! There are lot of institutes that provides quality education for children in our community. However, what makes Bilingual unique is the relentless focus on child’s emotional and academic growth. This approach combined with experience teacher and beautiful location is a perfect recipe for a “happy child” My son gives 5 star review to Bilingual every day and loves going to school. If you ever want any reference about Bilingual… don’t ask parents but ask children or go to school and observe them. It will make your decision an easy one!
