Thriving Kids Academy

Our 8-year-old son has attended both the summer and afternoon programs at TKA since it opened, and we’ve been very happy with our experience. He takes music, LEGO robotics, table tennis, and social-emotional classes, and he enjoys all of them. It’s rare to find a program that offers so many high-quality classes in one place, along with other fun options like science, art, and public speaking. The teachers emphasize not only learning but also reading, responsibility, collaboration, and kindness. Founded by a child psychologist and a LEGO robotics coach, TKA truly focuses on understanding each child’s strengths and needs and helping them thrive. Highly recommended!

Thriving Kids Academy has been an amazing after-school program for my 6-year-old son. He attends every day after school and genuinely looks forward to going, which means a lot to us as parents. The teachers are caring, patient, and very dedicated. It’s clear that they truly love children and take the time to understand and support each child as an individual. Knowing our child is in such thoughtful and capable hands gives us great peace of mind. The enrichment classes are diverse and well-balanced. My son especially loves the chess class, LEGO activities, and the science classes with hands-on experiments that make learning fun and engaging. The program also places strong emphasis on social-emotional learning, helping children grow both academically and emotionally. We are very grateful to have such a high-quality, enriching after-school program in our local community. The environment has a great 'co-op' feel where everyone is friendly, which encourages the kids to be kind and supportive of one another.
