We had a wonderful experience with the Wellesley Cooperative Nursery School. The school truly embodies the spirit of cooperative community, where parents and teachers work closely together to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children. The teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive. They focus on early academics but also on social and emotional developments. The play based learning approach encourages creativity and exploration while still building important foundational skills. The classrooms are welcoming, well organized and full of engaging activities. The school also does a great job incorporating outdoor play, arts, music, and hands-on learning throughout the day. Overall Wellesley Cooperative Nursery School is a special place with dedicated teachers and a strong sense of community. Our family has had such a wonderful experience with the Wellesley Cooperative Nursery School. Our son absolutely loves going each day and looks forward to it every morning, which says everything about the warm and engaging environment the school creates. Since starting at WCNS, we have seen such meaningful growth in him. His confidence has improved significantly, and he has made great strides socially and developmentally. He’s become much more comfortable with individual play, is speaking more clearly and confidently, and does a much better job listening and taking directions. Our child loves going to WCNS. She enjoys all the different activities (drawing, painting, music class, etc.) her teachers put together on a daily basis. We have found WCNS to be a great community for our whole family.

My older son and now younger son attends Wellesley Cooperative Nursery School, and it has been a truly wonderful experience. Every time we pick them up, they are content, calm, and clearly thriving. The teachers are incredibly thoughtful and loving—they create such a nurturing and safe environment that we always feel completely confident leaving my kids for the day. The school itself feels magical, with its charming barn-like structure, joyful playground, and the constant happy hum of children playing and learning. Every visit is met with smiles and a sense of warmth. We always say that WCNS is one of the best parenting decisions we’ve made!
