Several years ago, when I moved to the Parkville area, I tried almost every daycare in the area. I had moved from Anne Arundel County to Baltimore County. For several years, when my son got into grade school, we continued to seek out a daycare. Even the most expensive child cares in the area. We did have a fantastic experience at Parkville Tots too. It was a pre-school. It wasn’t until 2021 or 2022, when we found Active Minds. We started at Perry Hall and ended in Parkville. Active Minds is a top notch child care center. You can be relatively carefree when you drop off your child. The staff is well trained. They vet their staff. They are innovative. They have expanded over the years. Your children will make friends for a lifetime. The staff is diverse and the children being served are multicultural. They provide safe transportation to and from school and on field trips. They assist with homework. While my son was there there, the field trip options were unmatched. We were unable to tour the White House or meet the newest Supreme Court Justice. But he was able to travel to Philadelphia and Washington DC to visit museums. His favorite recent trip was to the cooking school, Schola. In the past they also had Lego Masters visit and a magic show. They also had a chance to ride in exotic cars. The Trunk and Treats are also really nice. My son is going to middle school, so we are moving on. But I have to shout out to the dynamic duo, for birthing this fabulous daycare. And special thanks Ms. Diana, Mr. Adam, Ms. Shanelle, Ms. Valarie and Ms. Pauline for your leadership and support over the years. Thank you too! All the staff was great… Everyday wasn’t perfect but this place is closest to perfection. And each day and year they work to make it better. Thank you for that Mike and Lechel. ❤️ I can’t say enough about the daycare. But it really helped my son become a leader. I highly recommend Active Minds. Top notch school age child care. I will post at Parkville and Perry Hall. As my son attended both. I was not paid for this… I truly think they deserve the rating and recognition, because they are only opinion the best!

Questions parents ask about Active Minds Learning Parkville
Is Active Minds Learning Parkville a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Active Minds Learning Parkville holds Maryland licence 1746212358020x721440431834028700, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Baltimore County. What does Maryland record about Active Minds Learning Parkville's standing?
- Maryland records Active Minds Learning Parkville's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Active Minds Learning Parkville licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 29 school-age places for Active Minds Learning Parkville. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for Active Minds Learning Parkville?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Active Minds Learning Parkville's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
