Our (almost) 6 month old son is thriving at A Giants. He started in daycare when he was only 2 months old and loved it from the start. Staff was amazing onboarding new babies and parents to daycare. Our son loves his teachers and is all smiles at dropoff and pickup. And the teachers foster amazing interactions between our son and the other older children. They have even helped him reach developmental milestones. Throw in daily photo updates and it's a total win. Highly recommend A Giants.
Devin PowersOct 28, 2025We couldn’t be happier with our experience at AGELC. Our 1-year-old and 3-year-old both attend, and it’s been such a nurturing and supportive environment for them to grow. From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured. They are incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely care about each child’s well-being and development. Our 1-year-old has blossomed with the loving attention and sensory play that keeps him engaged and happy. And our 3-year-old has been thriving—learning new things every day, building friendships, and becoming more confident and curious. AGELC creates a warm and structured environment that truly feels like an extension of home. We’re constantly impressed by the thoughtful activities they plan, the communication we receive, and the way they celebrate each child’s unique personality. It’s such a comfort knowing our children are in a place where they are safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. We’re so grateful to be part of this wonderful community!
Amanda KingAug 22, 2025Misleading, Unprofessional, and Disorganized I want to preface this review by saying that we never even got to experience the actual childcare services — this rating is based entirely on their onboarding process, which was so unprofessional that we ultimately walked away. We reached out 16 months ago to secure part-time care for our daughter. We toured the facility — it was the least clean of all the places we saw, but the rates were reasonable and we were assured that getting on the waitlist this far in advance would be more than enough to secure a spot. Throughout the process, we were told repeatedly that we’d have no problem starting in June, and that they’d keep in touch. They did not. I had to reach out multiple times — at four months out, again at one month out, and finally several times in the last weeks of May — just to get updates. Each time, we were assured that everything was fine. Then suddenly, at the very last minute, they told us there was no spot for our daughter. Maybe July. Maybe August. That was frustrating enough — but then a week later, they said a spot had opened up for June and invited us in to complete onboarding. During that meeting, they told us they had us down for full-time care, even though every conversation we had was about part-time. Their "solution" was to either pay full-time rates or go back on the waitlist and maybe get a part-time spot in September. Only after we walked away in frustration did they contact us again — saying oops, it was a mistake on their end and part-time was fine after all. At that point, we’d had enough. The whole experience felt like a bait-and-switch to squeeze more money out of us, and we didn’t trust them anymore. We were lucky to find other care on short notice, but this provider’s lack of communication, broken promises, and last-minute chaos were unacceptable. If they can’t handle basic scheduling and communication, I have serious doubts about how they run a childcare program. Only consider this place if you’ve exhausted every other option.
Ian JonesJun 26, 2025A Wonderful Team Worth the Drive I’m so grateful for the amazing team at AGELC. Over the past year, they’ve become like family to us. From day one, they made my son feel welcome and safe, and it’s clear they care deeply for every child. My 3-year-old has blossomed under their care, and I’m always amazed at how much he learns each day. The drive to AGELC is absolutely worth it, kind of like how the best restaurants are never the ones closest to you. This team goes above and beyond in every way, from providing a nurturing, educational environment to maintaining great communication with parents. If you’re looking for a daycare where your child will be loved and supported, I highly recommend A Giant's Early Learning Center. They are truly exceptional!
Jessica BryanFeb 27, 2024We put in a deposit to hold a spot for our infant 9 months ago. At the time the manager was extremely excited and told us they had a spot for both our children. When we told them it was only going to be one child because we found substantially cheaper child care for our two year old they then told us our infant would lose priority and be added to the waiting list instead of being able to start immediately. As written in their onboarding paperwork, we were told we would be contacted based on "a numbered list". Well it has been 9 months and we have not been contacted once. We have called and they cannot tell us where we fall on their "numbered list", which makes me believe there is no actual list. I am not one for writing bad reviews, but I think people should know that your $200 non-refundable deposit may be taken and you may never hear from them again. I am sure they are great caregivers, but I question their business practices. This is the only daycare we have ever had this issue with. Do whatever you want with this information, just stating our experience.
Cortez McCraryFeb 2, 2024My son is thriving at this pre-school and I'm so grateful we found them! We were referred by another family and I was struggling to find a place that could really give him what he needs. They spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities, which I feel makes all the difference in early childhood development. I have seen very positive changes in my son and I feel safe knowing he's in such a loving environment. I would highly suggest them to anyone I know.

Questions parents ask about A Giants Early Learning Center
Is A Giants Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. A Giants Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746214773715x196833691363044400, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Anne Arundel County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to March 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about A Giants Early Learning Center's standing?
- Maryland records A Giants Early Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is A Giants Early Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 3 infant places for A Giants Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does A Giants Early Learning Center operate all year?
- Maryland records A Giants Early Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for A Giants Early Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects A Giants Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
