  • We had an amazing time celebrating my son’s birthday at Amped up! 🎉 From start to finish, everything was top tier. The staff was professional, friendly, and made sure the kids had a blast. The facility was clean, safe, and full of fun activities. They even offer before & after care and a summer camp program, which is a huge plus! My son absolutely loves it here, and it shows every time we visit. If you’re looking for the perfect place to host your next event or keep your kids engaged this is it. Highly recommend! 💙

  • If I could give no stars I promise I would - My son went here for about a year and within this time, I'm very disappointed in the discrimination, labeling & unprofessionalism of the owner and staff! As a parent you expect if something happens with your child for the "ADULT" to inform you about it... not at this facility!! my 6 year old told me more than the people being paid to watch him. My son was called the "N" word and the staff had the audacity to say we thought he might know what it means and sent me an email stating when 2 black kids say it, it's a term of endearment - I quote! My son told me many times about kids pulling his hair , pushing him ,punching him & bullying him and when this information was brought to the owner he would always reply he didn't know about it, or he had to go find out despite the facility was surrounded with cameras. My son had his days as any child would but because of that any incident occurred with my son instead of them figuring out what happened they immediately came to me saying it's always his fault, and only penalized my child. my child would tell me in front of staff what would happen & who he told & they would try to silence his voice saying he's lying or they didn't know that had happened. When I spoke up for my son it became a huge problem, the owner Mr.mike became very belligerent & disrespectful - yelling at me in front of my child. As a result of me speaking up for my child the owner decided to kick him out. Parents beware of this how people treat your kids! Full disclosure- my child has never been put out of establishments he started at a private pre-k school graduated into elementary school with no prior suspensions.

  • We had my daughter’s 4th birthday at Amped Up and had a blast. There’s so much to do and fun for kids of all ages. It’s also a great price. Mike, the owner, was extremely helpful. It’s truly a hidden gem for a kid’s birthday party!

  • I haven’t even visited this place yet. I’m going today. I decided to sign my daughter up for camp because I noticed how much activities they have for children with very active minds. My daughter does well in school but needs a lot of stimulation as this place has to offer. The place is big enough for her to run around. Most of all, I noticed how nice , professional and time sensitive Mile A is to answering all my questions and giving me information. He is also very accommodating to the needs we have. When I ask about anything he has a positive response and solution. He appears to be very organized… and that is what my child needs. Children need plenty to do and structure. I can’t wait to visit and let my coworkers and family know how great this place is. I expect great things!

Questions parents ask about Amped Up Family Amphitheatre

Is Amped Up Family Amphitheatre a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Amped Up Family Amphitheatre holds Maryland licence 1746211988814x937827024165438600, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Baltimore County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to April 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Amped Up Family Amphitheatre's standing?

Maryland records Amped Up Family Amphitheatre's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Amped Up Family Amphitheatre licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 120 school-age places for Amped Up Family Amphitheatre. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does this page show inspection results for Amped Up Family Amphitheatre?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Amped Up Family Amphitheatre's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
