  • They really understand how to care and nurture a child. This is one of the best daycares I’ve experienced - the people, the curriculum, the support- unmatched. At first, the price seemed high, now, I realize it’s the quality I’m paying for…. They really get it. They got it right at AELC. Some of my child’s faves: Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Michele, Ms. Carla, Ms. Karen, & Ms. Keymani (she talks about them on the weekends!) thank you for loving my child and nurturing her development in a positive way. 🫶🏽

  • my two year old absolutely loved it here id recommend this daycare to anyone, this is a very clean daycare , they have hardwood floors(which i loved) I watched my daughters teacher hand clean the toys after children played with them. they listened to me as far as my concerns/questions for my child always. they worked with me at all times and most of all my child’s growth and development here was amazing all the crafts and the lesson plan tasks taught her so many things that she’s carried in and out of daycare. The friendships and connections she made is what makes it so hard to leave here. loved it here!

  • My twin boys has only been going here for a week. When i walked in, the girl with the bad burgundy weave was changing 1 of my twins and didnt know that i was standing behind her observing her. She was rough and aggressively wiped my son's face and when i yelled "excuse me", doing my best to not cause a scene in front of babies, she pretended not to hear me. They saw a few heat bumps on my son leg and said it seems that he caught hand, foot, mouth disease! Then within 4 days of attenting this daycare, both of my twins ended up sick out of nowhere. Apparently, this daycare dont care who they hire. My babies WILL NOT be going here anymore.

  • Our child has been attending Apple Early Learning Center for a little over a year in the infant and toddler programs. We are happy each day knowing our son is well cared for. He gets excited when he sees his teachers and is always clean and happy at pick up. One of his teachers has been at the center for over 20 years! The staff have been very friendly and helpful. I was impressed that they have a curriculum for all ages, including infants and they send out daily messages to report what your child did that day. You also get daily updates about your child. Our son is 17 months old and is constantly singing songs that we assume he learned at school. We are quite impressed. My husband and I have worked in child development for many years as a teacher and psychologist and feel good about our decision to have our child at Apple Early Learning Center and would highly recommend them to other families in need of childcare.

  • I would love to express my feelings about the apple learning center that my children have been attending since the beginning of the school year. So far, I've been here for almost a year. I've been shown nothing but respect from this place. They treat all of my kids as I would and I very much appreciate that. The only issue I had was with my vouchers. That issue was fixed right away. Yes, money did come out of my pocket for the situation that occurred in the months that I started. The owner of the place was able to work with me. I would love to give a shoutout to Ms. Karen and Ms. Carla both of these ladies work in the front office. I wanna shoutout the best teachers my children have had so far is Ms. Kiki, Ms. Taya, Ms. Rihanna, Ms. Pam, and Ms. Lisa, THANK YOU Ladies for all you do for my family. The Ford Family:) Keep up the good work!

  • My son is 20 months old. He started back in september, any who knows me know im very picky when it comes to my kids and with my son being my youngest and the only one who had to attend child care outside of the family it bothered me. Doing my research I wasn’t to sure about this center due to the reviews, however I decided to visit and see myself. When i arrived I was with my mom we were greeted by Ms Carla. We were late, however Ms Carla still saw us she was happy we made it. she informed me that she had been waiting. She knew Who I was, she had all my information there, and she gave us a tour of the center. me and my mom were impressed. They have a open center where everyone can see what everyone is doing, something I liked. The center was clean and the staff were friendly everyone was welcoming. upon leaving my mom was excited. She was very happy, so was I, however, it was a big change to what I was used to. I did decide to let my son start the following week and it has been the best experience ever. I highly recommend the center I see already an improvement in his learning and coping skills best center ever. Ms. Carla a special thanks to you for making my experience a great one.

Questions parents ask about Apple Early Learning Center

Is Apple Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Apple Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746212204828x520600951933375000, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Prince George's County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to July 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Apple Early Learning Center's standing?

Maryland records Apple Early Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Apple Early Learning Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 10 infant places and 50 school-age places for Apple Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Apple Early Learning Center operate all year?

Maryland records Apple Early Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Apple Early Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Apple Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
