  I'm a 62yr old plumber and have 4 grown kids and I have never seen a cleaner, organized, with loving staffed day care. The babies and kids were in age groups and keep engaged with learning plans for their ages. I spent about six hours there taking care of plumbing so I saw this wonderful place in operation.   Our child started at Ascension towards the end of June, and the center has truly become her home away from home. The director made the enrollment process easy to navigate by providing prompt responses to all our questions. Additionally, all enrollment forms are conveniently accessible and can be completed through the Brightwheel app, a leading childcare management tool. Since we were uncertain about our child’s start date, we greatly appreciated the director’s flexibility and understanding throughout the process. This was our child’s first daycare experience, so naturally, we had concerns about the transition. Those worries quickly disappeared when we received the first photo of our smiling child through Brightwheel. At pickup, our child didn’t want to leave, and at that moment, we knew we had found the perfect daycare provider. The director and teachers are attentive to every child’s needs. They share regular updates on progress (through Brightwheel or during pickup), celebrate achievements, and provide thoughtful suggestions for areas of growth. This center is truly a blessing. As parents, it’s a relief to know our child is safe, loved, and learning every day. I highly recommend Ascension.

  I had the opportunity to tour this childcare center. The place is very clean and accommodating. There is a lot of different rooms for different age groups ranging from infants to toddlers to pre school. There is a lot of educating activities like puzzles, coloring, and books to keep kids engaged. There are also a lot of toys that will let kids' imagination run wild. There is a lot of inclusivity throughout the building as well. Mothers have a private room for pumping, there are a lot of accessible unisex bathrooms, and plenty of water stations to keep everyone hydrated. There is also a playground out back to let kids run around. If you are looking for week days, week nights, or weekend childcare, I cannot recommend this place enough!

  I recently had the pleasure of touring the newly opened Ascension Childcare Center, to find a center for my one yr old Grandson and I was thoroughly impressed! The facility is beautifully organized and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for both parents and children. The tour was expertly guided by the director, who clearly demonstrated a deep understanding of the center's educational focus and goals for the students. It's evident that they are committed to providing a high-quality learning experience. One standout feature is their breastfeeding room, which is a thoughtful addition for parents. It’s great to see that the center caters to various family needs, including accommodating parents who work overnight or late shifts. Their operating hours, from 6:30 AM to 11 PM, are incredibly flexible and considerate of working families. If you’re looking for a reliable and nurturing learning environment in Nottingham, I highly recommend considering Ascension Childcare its a wonderful place for children to grow and learn!
