  • I love Carter’s Webb. Our son Bobby has gone since he was 1 years old. I read about the center and immediately loved their philosophy and mission. We were looking for a place that was Christian too. His teachers have all been very caring and have taught him well. We look forward to our son continuing his learning there. He has also made great friends.

  • We have had a great experience with our son from the age of 2-5. He has had countless opportunities to be outside daily, engage and grow socially, and is on target academically for kindergarten because of the wonderful teachers at this school.

  • I love Carter’s Webb! The new owners always go the extra mile to show their appreciation for not just the families, but the staff as well. They step in and help with classes when needed and the kids are always excited to see them working in their classroom! They promote learning and child development in a positive and safe environment. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I’m extremely thankful for such an amazing place!

  • I love my CWLC Family! The new owners are amazing and really show their employees how much they appreciate them. They make sure our families are taken care and happy. They don’t mind stepping in and helping when we need help or coming by the classroom asking if we need anything. The changes that they have made to the center are amazing. I’ve been here for years and I look forward to being here many more years!! 💜

  • Will not offer toileting assistance to children who ask for help other than providing them with their spare clothing and offering wipes for the child to clean themselves up. I called the state about my concerns last week and they visited the center and found that the center was not out of compliance, however; Directors were very rude to me during a meeting regarding the care of my child. Told me I was upset because I wasn't getting what I wanted. When asked where in their handbook to find the section on the care they did and did not provide the director told me "You can read, find it yourself. You signed that you read and understood the information." When asked at what age children are expected to be able to wipe and clean up themselves "three" was the answer provided by the director. My child is school age and while I don't expect a staff member to accompany him to the restroom, I would expect that if he asked for assistance that he would be helped. I don't feel that including this in an IEP is appropriate (the center requested this in order to provide him with help if he asked for it) as this is not a disability but a skill that has not been fully developed. The center did offer to call me if my child requested assistance in the bathroom so that I could leave work and come to the center to assist him. Very disappointed care of my child will not be entrusted to this center. Very unprofessional. These ladies have a lot to learn if they are going to be successful in the childcare business. When I told them I would be posting this to social media they asked me to make sure to include all of the details. I hope this satisfies their request.

  • We moved to Huntingtown, MD a little over a year ago and immediately fell in love with Noah's Ark Learning Center. Their farmhouse-homey environment was very welcoming. Our little one loves everything about Noah's Ark. He's made sweet friends and has adoring teachers who spend their days giving him and his peers the education, love and care I want him to have while I'm at work. The Director, Toni, and her staff are the most wonderful and awesome people. They are caring, cordial and just plain good folks. Their learning environment is friendly and warm. As our little one goes from a "Bear" to a "School-Ager" (he's going to Kindergarten this Fall) he will continue at Noah's Ark as they prepare him to be successful in school and in life. A few months ago, our older son was hospitalized. The Bears class made him a card and all the little ones wrote their names on the card. It put a smile on his face and warmed my heart so much. This gesture just shows exactly what they are teaching at the Learning Center. I just love it there and I would recommend Noah's Ark to anyone who is moving to the area or who is preparing to expand their family.

Questions parents ask about Carter's Webb Learning Center

Is Carter's Webb Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Carter's Webb Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746210805719x548385805275253500, listed as "PROVISIONAL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Calvert County. The licence is recorded as Provisional, running to January 29, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Carter's Webb Learning Center's standing?

Maryland records Carter's Webb Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Carter's Webb Learning Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 3 infant places and 15 school-age places for Carter's Webb Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does this page show inspection results for Carter's Webb Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Carter's Webb Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
