We have had a wonderful experience with Cedar Lane Nursery School. The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care about the children. Our daughter was always happy to go in each day, which meant so much to us as parents. The environment is warm, nurturing, and well organized, and the staff communicates well with families. We’re very grateful for the positive early learning experience they gave our daughter and would highly recommend Cedar Lane Nursery School to other families.

The play-based philosophy is perfect, the community of parents is so supportive, and the teachers are gems. If you’re looking for a school where you can be involved in your child's early education, this is the place. Highly recommend!

We were looking for somewhere where our oldest could start preparing for Kindergarten while still centering play and being a kid - This has been the perfect balance! With two children enrolled now, they both talk about how much they like school, like their teachers and friends, and look forward to going. Great experience, great community!
Kate ShepardJan 28, 2026Cedar Lane Nursery School has been such a gift for our family. It’s tucked into the woods and the outdoor space is amazing. There’s a big shaded playground where the kids spend time exploring and playing. It really feels like a little forest school. One of the things that makes Cedar Lane so special is the Co-op model. Parents get to be in the classroom, which sounds like a big commitment at first, but it’s honestly one of the best parts. You get to see your child in action, build real connections with friends and the teachers, and become part of a close-knit community of families. The teachers are incredible; kind, thoughtful, and I’ve learned so much about parenting from them. Our child has thrived here. If you're looking for a preschool that feels warm, welcoming, and a little magical, Cedar Lane Nursery School is a perfect choice.

Our kids have grown so much here, both socially and emotionally. Being part of a co-op has been a huge bonus. We’ve gotten to be involved in the classroom, really getting to know the other families, and feel like part of a supportive community. It’s a warm, joyful place that encourages creativity, kindness, and curiosity. We couldn’t be happier to have found it!
