  • You Got To Check This Place Out! Highly Recommended! ⭐️10 out 10 ⭐️ My son has been attending Centennial Early Learning Center for almost a year now, and I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about it. Choosing childcare for the first time—especially as a first-time mom—was incredibly nerve-wracking, but from day one, the teachers and staff made us feel so welcomed and at ease. It was immediately clear how much they genuinely care about the children and even the parents. My son started when he was almost 2.5 years old, and he absolutely loves going to “school” every day. It brings me so much joy to see how excited he is, and how much he has learned and grown during his time there. He’s always coming home with fun projects and artwork, which really shows how engaged and supported he is throughout the day. I also truly love how diverse the staff and children are. It creates such a welcoming, inclusive environment, and I think that’s incredibly valuable for young children. The communication with parents is excellent, and I always feel informed and connected. Most importantly, I feel confident that my son is in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. They are open from 8–5 and provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, which is such a great convenience. The pricing is also VERY reasonable for the level of care and quality they provide. They are located downtown Frederick right on 2nd street which is easy to get to and from every day. It really is a fantastic place, and I wholeheartedly recommend Centennial Early Learning Center to any family looking for a place where their child will be happy, cared for, and thrive. I promise you will fall in love with this place and their teachers & staff.

  • Wonderful, wonderful day care!! From the director down to each individual teacher, our family loves and trusts Centennial with our 2 year old. His growth in just 6 months under the care of Centennial has made him blossom and be more social. Our son LOVES going each day. Centennial is affordable, has a great teacher to student ratio, and clean/safe facilities. I thought being in downtown would be hard for parking at pickup/dropoff but its been very good! Centennial is vey communicative and notify often of any changes to schedules or events. I strongly encourage any families seeking day care needs to visit this facility!

  • My granddaughter has been attending Centennial Early Learning center for about 2.5 months. Their curriculum has prepared her tremendously for pre-K. She has learned to spell her name and letters. She knew quite a few going in but now she knows all including both upper and lower case. She has learned so many songs and you always hear her singing them in the car or around the house. My granddaughter loves it when they dress up as princesses. I am very grateful to have found such a nurturing and caring center with wonderful teachers! If you are ever looking for childcare, I would highly recommend Centennial Early Learning Center.

  • Our daughter is 3,5 years old and has been here for a few months now. Aisha is always excited to go every time she knows she is going to the daycare.. She learn many new things like paintings, speaking and communication skills. She also learn about love and compassion from her teachers that are kind and loving. They also have outdoor activities sometimes which are healthy for the children's development. I work in mental health field and based on my observation as well as from the outcome of my daughter's development especially in art and language skills, I find that this daycare is fantastic.

  • From the moment my husband and I walked through the doors we know this was the place for our baby girl. The teachers are loving, kind, and professional. As we talked with the director we we're lead by the Holy Spirit to pay the deposit during the interview and start the process of getting our daughter registered. The director and the teachers always exceed our expectations. We are very blessed to have them care for our daughter ❤️.

  • I am so thankful for Centennial Early Learning Center. We chose Centennial Early Learning Center on the recommendation of a friend that had seen the way the school was run and was thoroughly impressed and passed on the information knowing we were in search of childcare. I'm thankful everyday for that recommendation! Since my sister started attending this daycare she has shown great improvement in her speech and problem solving ability. She loves it there! The instructors are friendly and very helpful.

Questions parents ask about Centennial Early Learning Center

Is Centennial Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Centennial Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746221931835x337617851115432800, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Frederick County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to March 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Centennial Early Learning Center's standing?

Maryland records Centennial Early Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Centennial Early Learning Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 4 school-age places for Centennial Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Centennial Early Learning Center operate all year?

Maryland records Centennial Early Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Centennial Early Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Centennial Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
