Center for Creative Children has been a blessing for my family. My son went there from 3 months to 17 months and he was treated wonderfully. Ms. Diane was always so supportive and ready to answer my questions any time I needed. Ms. Behnaz and Ms Meg saw him crawl and begin to walk. They loved him and truly encouraged him every step of the way. Ms. Meaa was there to welcome him every morning with a beautiful smile and so much positive energy. Ms Sherri always told me the positive things my boy was up to during the day. And Ms. Monir. I can't even begin to thank her. She was there with my son from his first day there to his last. She has been such a positive influence and taught him and me so much. All the teachers have been very caring and very flexible. The center is small, but that's a good thing. It creates a family feel. My son made his first friends there and the center encouraged that friendship. He was always picked up with a clean diaper. I was always told if he had the sniffles or a cough and even if his potty was not the best. They really care about the kids. The center is always kept clean and the teachers and Director kept up with the maintenance all the time. I can't recommend this center enough. I will miss everyone there. This was by far the hardest part of moving away.
Megan BealsFeb 8, 2020I have a set of twins that attended this daycare shortly after being born in 2016. The location was extremely convenient and the teachers were great! Due to a change in work location, my kids can't attend anymore, but I highly recommend it. They do a lot of great activities and took care of my kids.
Chris WarnerOct 31, 2018worst daycare in town. If you love your kid do not send them here! If you want to pick up your child daily with a soiled diaper and new scrapes and bruises from a staff that clearly dos not care, enroll here. They have a policy to change the kids every 2 hrs and they also have a policy NOT to use baby powder = weekly diaper rash. The staff is extremely lazy and disinterested in the children and they do NOT track the daily meals and diaper changes like they advertise.
Nathan JOct 9, 2018We love the Center For Creative Children! I never write reviews, but I realize there are so many parents, like us, that do not have any other option than to send your child to daycare - which can be a scary and daunting task considering you want to pick the right one! Our daughter started here when she was 12 weeks and we have nothing but great things to say about this center and her care! The director and all of the staff we have encountered have been fabulous. Special shoutout to Ms. Andrea and Ms. Behnaz! I feel confident leaving my child for the day in their care and my daughter lights up when she sees them. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she looks well cared for and happy. They keep a chart on all activity (naps, feeding, diaper changes) so you know what happened and when. The rooms and facility are very clean and all of the classrooms and hallways just look fun and kid friendly. Sending our daughter to daycare here has been the best decision!
Erica StoltzSep 29, 2017Our son has been going here for the last 4 months, he is now 9 months old and we absolutely adore the daycare providers here!!! As a first time mom I was very scared of putting him in daycare, especially after having such a terrible experience at La Petit Academy in Columbia. At that location, our son, who normally does not cry or fuss much, would come home with a hoarse voice from being left to cry and exhausted from not sleeping because of how the beds were set up in the middle of the room. At Center for Creative Children, we immediately noticed a difference in him after just 2-3 days. He would smile when we brought him in, the ladies fawn all over him and the other babies and try to keep with your home habits to help them adjust in daycare. I can not praise this place enough, I feel like my son is truly taken care of and is not just treated like another number. These ladies are amazing providers!!
Michealla McIntyreApr 25, 2017As a kid I hated going to school, but our little ones wake up & can't wait to go to CCC. While management has been lacking in the past they're on a great upward trajectory with new management, the teachers are wonderful and they really care for the kids which is the important thing at the end of the day. Yes, the facility is older, but newer ones we've toured just feel sterile. Finally, I'd prefer to spend more time with my kids and be minutes from them at work just in case anything ever happens.

Questions parents ask about Center For Creative Children
Is Center For Creative Children a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Center For Creative Children holds Maryland licence 1746213532278x404634121688838700, listed as "INITIAL - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Anne Arundel County. The licence is recorded as Initial - Full, running to December 31, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Center For Creative Children's standing?
- Maryland records Center For Creative Children's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Center For Creative Children licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 15 infant places for Center For Creative Children. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Center For Creative Children operate all year?
- Maryland records Center For Creative Children as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Center For Creative Children?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Center For Creative Children's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
