This center requires an almost 3k deposit to confirm childcare, and none of that money goes towards your tuition. Doesn’t seem very Christian to me
Jennifer BerberichJun 19, 2026We absolutely love C2LC! Our daughter has been attending for 3.5 years and our son for almost 2 years. Our kids love to go to school in the morning and are reluctant to leave at the end of the day. My daughter just adores her teacher and I can tell that the feeling is mutual when I talk to her teacher. She has learned sooooo much in pre-k and I know she will be ready to start Kindergarten in the fall. That is a great feeling!! My son just started in the 2s room and I can already see an improvement in his speech. I can’t say enough good things about the teachers, all the class room aides, the director, and the owners. It is with a very heavy heart that we have to leave C2LC, as we have decided to move. We will miss our little family soooo much! I recommend this school with everything I have!
Allie EngelhardtMar 28, 2023Our son absolutely loves attending here. It’s not your typical daycare and we can truly see the difference the teachers have made on jumpstarting his learning. They have structured days that make it easy to transition to kindergarten and plan activities/field trips for the kids. We love C2LC!
Courtney LorenzOct 21, 2021BEWARE! All of the 5 star reviews on here were posted by staff members of the center. Here's the real deal. Upon picking up our child my husband was met at the door by the director with our child's things and a letter stating that due to her violent behavior she was not welcome back. No phone call. No parent teacher conference. No behavior plan. No grace period to secure alternate care. Nothing. What horrific act did our 35 lb. 2 year old commit you ask? Well she wasn't listening (Shocker. Did I mention that she's 2?) and she kicked a teacher, not another child, a teacher. My husband and I both work, in addition I am a full time student so obviously neither of us are available to stay home. When I called to ask about giving us a few days to make other arrangements for her I was told no sorry the decision had already been made, but not by my child's LEAD teacher, the one who deals with her on a daily basis, because she happened to be out of the center that day. When I asked about returning our deposit I was told sorry no refunds. So here we are during finals week scrambling to find child care after being put out with absolutely no forewarning and no deposit to put towards a new center. Not very CHRISTIAN of you Chesapeake CHRISTIAN Learning Center.
