My one star was given due to the inconvenience of having to set up an appointment JUST TO GET RATE information. It would be helpful to even have a RANGE of the tuition price before having to give them all your information and possibly waste your time taking a tour.
K DorseyJun 4, 2026My daughter has been going to COA Waldorf since March 2025 and she absolutely loves it. She started off with Ms. Meika and Ms. Nicole in the twos room, but now she's with Ms. Nicole and Ms. Taylor in PreK-1B. With having a child with multiple severe allergies, the entire center takes them very seriously, especially Ms. Nicole or as she calls her "Momma Cole" lol. Her school mom goes far and beyond for her.
Carah MilesJan 8, 2026We are so grateful for our twins’ Infant A teacher Diamond. Even though she is new, she came in and truly hit the ground running. From day one, she showed confidence, patience, and a genuine love for the babies in her care. She quickly built a bond with our twins and made us feel comfortable and reassured as parents. Her attentiveness, organization, and calm presence make a huge difference in the classroom. She pays close attention to each child’s needs and communicates well, which means so much to us. It is clear she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the growth, safety, and happiness of the infants. We feel blessed to have her caring for our twins and look forward to seeing the positive impact she continues to make. She is already an amazing addition to the Infant A team.
Tisha WilliamsDec 22, 2025I have 2 1/2 -year old twin grandchildren that attend COA Waldorf Campus for nearly two years. They have always received the best care and quality services offered at any top-notch child care facility. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, creative and fun to work with. The children have learned a tremendous amount of age -appropriate class material and are thriving in their social skills. I attribute a great deal of their progress this year to their talented, professional and caring teachers, Ms. Meika and Ms. Tiana. Their hard work and dedication to educating the very brightest of 2 year old students is admirable. They appear to thoroughly enjoy engaging their little students as they offer them lots of support along the way (including a hug or two)! We are grateful for their efforts as it shows in the growth my family and I have seen in our twins! Many thanks to the team and Management at COA - Waldorf.
Elaine OvertonDec 16, 2025Children of American Waldorf is such a wonderful child care center. My daughter started off in the infant room about 7 months ago and this has been the best experience as far as top notch care. Ms. V, one of my personal favorite teachers is so loving and nurturing and will always support the parents and keep the parents in the know about their children 100% of the time. She has become like family and as a parent that boost my comfortability level in knowing that my child is well taken care of while I'm at work. I would also like to acknowledge the other educators that make such a wonderful impact in my daughter’s life (Ms. Michelle, Ms. Michaela, Ms. Diamond, Ms. Stacy, Ms. Natasha, and Ms. Mariah). All these wonderful people are what makes coming to Children of America so special. They have all literally become family, and also at times my therapists! My daughter’s developmental/fundamental skills have really improved since within their care. I recommend all families to this childcare center because you will definitely be impressed with the quality of care, price, and overall service provided to each individual child.
Tiara RobertsDec 15, 2025We would like to thank Ms. Sharketer and Ms. Annette for everything they have done for our family. They are incredibly caring, helpful, and always on time. We truly appreciate how attentive they are and how well they watch after our children. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they are in great hands. We are very thankful for their support! Ms. Megan and Ms. Destinee were also incredibly supportive in making our children feel comfortable and helping them transition smoothly into daycare. We would also like to thank Ms. Natasha and Ms. Mariah for always being available to answer any questions we may have. Your communication, patience, and willingness to help mean so much to us.

Questions parents ask about Children of America Waldorf
Is Children of America Waldorf a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Children of America Waldorf holds Maryland licence 1746225378306x870877942202665600, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Charles County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to September 30, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Children of America Waldorf's standing?
- Maryland records Children of America Waldorf's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Children of America Waldorf licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 18 infant places and 30 school-age places for Children of America Waldorf. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Children of America Waldorf operate all year?
- Maryland records Children of America Waldorf as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Children of America Waldorf?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Children of America Waldorf's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
