This is the absolute worst day daycare!!!! My son was here briefly… And the moment this happened, I immediately pulled him out and never returned…. At this daycare, they take the kids to go swimming. Two teachers go with the kids swimming. To my knowledge, Victoria, the owner of This daycare said that the teachers do NOT get in the pool they simply watch THE KIDS them from the sides.. When the kids were in the pool, my son along with the other kids were playing Marco Polo. My son Dove underwater to get away from The student that was playing “Marco” When diving underwater, he bumped his nose and busted it open on the side of the pool. After it happened, my son told one of the teacher teachers told him to go back in the pool and play! There was no ice or any antibiotic put on it. She simply told my son to go back into the water and play…. It wasn’t until an hour and a half when they came back to the facility then they notified me that he had injured himself at the pool.. The teacher that had notified me, said that he received a”little scratch” Something told me to just go to the facility and see for myself I immediately got off work. I rushed over and wanted to speak to Victoria the owner. But she was nowhere to be found.. When Victoria finally got back to the facility after being at Home Depot, we tired to have a conversation on what Happened that day with my Son . She stated the reason why I wasn’t notified immediately was because the teacher did not have my number. The first day that I signed my son up for the school, I gave them all of my information filled out all of the paperwork. Not only did the owner Victoria repeatedly asked me what my son’s name was Because she did forgot his name. She also did not know where the paperwork was for my contact information. She also did not put my information into the system for the teachers to have on file. She also did not give the teachers a paper copy of my number To the teachers, being as though they were taking my child out out of the facility for an activity… I understand completely kids Fall and hurt themselves all the time I am beyond furious with the amount of time that it took to notify me that my son was hurt.. He had a severe hematoma.. Could’ve have possibly had a brain bleed.. In critical situations like that, every second counts for an hour and a half to go by Without being notified of the injury is absolutely unacceptable And at the end of the day, he hit his head that is still considered a head injury just because we see what we see on the outside you still have no clue what’s going on inside… It was a complete lack in leadership. And also very irresponsible on the teachers part for pulling off the facility parking lot without having all of the kids contact information.. Mind you, my Son has allergies and severe asthma!!!! After this Horrendous experience, I saw one of the staff in The store she came up to me and Told me that I did the right thing by pulling my Son out of that daycare.. not that I needed her to tell me, but that shows a lot.. I do not recommend daycare To anyone.. It lacks
Alexis JonesMar 20, 2026Children of Christ Learning Center is a very safe and caring environment for children. My grandson has been attending for over a year now and has opened up and learned a lot. The center is not only a child care facility but also a preschool and the children learn! The director is very loving and instill the word of God in the children and the staff are amazing as well! They have assembly every morning and they teach the children how to pray and worship Jesus and that is great, my grandson always say's have a bless day before exiting the car now. I definitely recommend this center!
Meshell Ham-BuynumMay 10, 2024Children of Christ Learning Center has a very safe and caring environment for the children. It's actually a preschool and the children learn so much! The director is very loving with the children and the teachers are amazing! They have assembly every morning and they teach the children how to pray and worship Jesus and that is great for me as they backup what I teach my children at home. I definitely recommend this center!
Deborah Perez BrignoniMay 26, 2022The Children of Christ Learning Center is a wonderful environment for providing children true Christian love, learning and fellowship. The director and the employees are very caring and loving people who go out of their way to embrace, love and care for the children. I find it very sad that people would give negative reviews with no substance or basis as this center is all about Christian Love and Learning. Give the Center a visit like myself and you'll see these qualities first hand.
G BeckSep 25, 2021This center is a great place where children learn proactively, my children have grown and learned so much since they started going here. Their curriculum and the love for Christ and His word are very valuable to me as a Christian parent. Being able to trust my kids are being backed up with what I teach them at home about God... has no price
Deborah PerezFeb 15, 2021Great place for your children to learn in a Christian environment. Down to earth staff that are always flexible.

Questions parents ask about Children of Christ Learning Center
Is Children of Christ Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Children of Christ Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746215777276x806506631471548500, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Harford County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to May 31, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Children of Christ Learning Center's standing?
- Maryland records Children of Christ Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Children of Christ Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 1 infant place and 2 school-age places for Children of Christ Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for Children of Christ Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Children of Christ Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
