  • Love love love! The new director has taken Children’s World to a new level. They are affordable and provide great care!

  • My son cried every morning at drop off, begging me not to leave him there. It got to the point of changing my work schedule. Most of the staff are extremely rude and could not be bothered with a “good morning”. The staff spoke to me the same way that they did the children. If you are a younger parent, look elsewhere. I have heard staff members yelling at children from outside of the “classrooms”. If you have no patience for children, do not work with them. The “behavioral issues” and “potty training issues” that they consistently complained about, were magically gone after starting with a new school where my son is SO well taken care of. There was a point where my son had a bite mark on his chest that was BLEEDING and I was told that it “did not happen here” and that my son was an issue. I have no other children nor had he been around children anywhere else. My son was filthy every day at pick up from the filthy playground and often had feces and urine in his underwear/pull up while the staff members sat at a table chatting. One month at a new school that him and I love, and I still feel the guilt of leaving my baby there for a year.

  • My son has flourished so much at this center. He was barely talking and not adjusting well but every single teacher was patient and worked with him every step of the way. They are so supportive to every family. My son sees Infants and Toddlers and when they came into the center they were all so impressed by how patient, calm, and open the environment is they could not stop talking about how great of a place it was for my son and our family's needs at our last appointment.

  • We have been with Children's world a few years and my child has established positive relationships with peers and staff. My child always has breakfast and afternoon snack available should they choose. Summer vacation days are typically organized to keep Children entertained and stimulated throughout the longer hot days with trips to community parks and pools as well as numerous indoor activities and crafts.

  • My little one has been going here for the better part of 2 years, and we have both absolutely loved it! There was a change in directors/management fairly early on when we started, and it was very obvious very quickly that it was for the better. Its a fun, welcoming environment and you can tell the teachers and aides clearly care about what they do and the children in their care. I'm hard pressed to think of a negative interaction or experience, my little one truly loves it there. If not for starting pre-k near home this year, we would absolutely keep her here. Coming here was definitely the right choice!!!

  • My son goes to this daycare and I wish I could take him out . The staff are lazy. Their not very active with the kids . Not really teaching them or providing the kids with learning skills. The staff sits at the desk most of the times I have been there thats all it seems like to me . The bathroom stalls smell bad soon as you walk in. The play ground is very old and it looks dangerous. All the money we all pay they could get a nee playground . I wouldn’t suggest this place. Unfortunately we had to move .

Questions parents ask about Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick

Is Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick holds Maryland licence 1746215610485x867833119827203100, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Frederick County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to February 27, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick's standing?

Maryland records Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 21 school-age places for Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick operate all year?

Maryland records Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Children's World Early Learning Center of Frederick's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
