  • It took months for me to find a childcare center for my two children to where I almost gave up! Luckily, we found CLCC! Kind of like faith! The teachers in the 2s&3s and the pre-k class are wonderful, kind and always keeping the parents in the loop about what’s going on at the center. My kids talk about how they enjoy learning with their teachers and classmates and how they’re always excited to go to school! If you’re looking for a center for your child(ren) this would be a great option!

  • Colesville learning center is the place to enroll your child. I was looking for a daycare for my 2 under 3 kids and I found Clcc I went there and I knew from the first day that I wanted my kids to be there, the team that I met there were so caring, lovely and patient with kids, I had my kids in the infant and 2 to 3 classroom, the staff is just wonderful, every time when I pick up my baby I will find them carrying him singing with him or reading a book to him. I am telling you Clcc is the place to be go for it and you won't regret. A special thank to Mrs Joy( best director) , Mrs Jojo( she is so caring💖)Mrs Niggat( your kindness is 🎉)Mrs Cindy( a wonderful teacher🥳) Mrs Editha( always have given the best advice😉)Mrs Kathie ( a beautiful soul🥰) Mrs Lisa( nice 👍 personality🤩) last but not least Mrs Shennelle( she's just like an auntie for my babies❣️). Thanks again guys for your devotion in our kids wellbeing

  • I am a teacher at CLCC but before I was a teacher I had my daughter in the preschool program. To say that CLCC is a school is not doing them justice. CLCC is a home away from home and the teachers as well as families feel the loving atmosphere every day. The director is not just a director, she’s a best friend to those she works with and loving teacher to all of her children. Finding a good childcare center is extremely hard and my heart goes out to the parent that wrote the 1 star review, but part of what makes CLCC so great is the team of incredible teachers that are found there. I think it says something of a Center that cares not just for the children in its care but also for the children of the staff.

  • Poor business practices. Our recent experience with this childcare center has taught us that contracts and the director's word are meaningless. We paid the 2-weeks' worth of tuition and registration fee per their contract for their next known available infant spot a full year in advance. The director explained that in doing so, the spot was ours and we would receive our contract in the mail. The contract finally arrived over a month later. Nearly 5 months after submitting payment, the director emailed us out of the blue to state that she was refunding our money because she was giving the spot we contractually paid for to one of their staff members instead. There was nothing in the contract about this being a possibility, nor was it discussed with us verbally. Her email saying she gave away our spot didn't even contain an apology! I am glad we learned about the questionable ways this center conducts their business before we entrusted our child's care to them. My advice to anyone considering enrolling their child here is to proceed with caution when putting down money and get on/stay on multiple wait lists, as our experience suggests that your child's spot isn't guaranteed (even if you have a contract) until you physically walk in there on your child's first day.

Questions parents ask about Colesville Learning Center For Children

Is Colesville Learning Center For Children a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Colesville Learning Center For Children holds Maryland licence 1746211294810x704638844843805700, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Montgomery County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to February 29, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Colesville Learning Center For Children's standing?

Maryland records Colesville Learning Center For Children's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Colesville Learning Center For Children licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 5 infant places for Colesville Learning Center For Children. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Colesville Learning Center For Children operate all year?

Maryland records Colesville Learning Center For Children as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Colesville Learning Center For Children?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Colesville Learning Center For Children's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
